Strange play

I cant play these machines..

got a top on 'Thats Magic' £25 I think it was.. the other £7 was in the bank already.... no afters.. I just ended up down, every board after that top was dead.. I really dont know the trick, but in my defence it was either take £3, or go lower than a seven!!
