Heheh :D

Basically i think we can all agree england are just shite in general. We'll never win anything in the near future, that's for sure.

Yeah, i think that was a bit tongue in cheek though  :P

I quite like Rob Green too, he's not a bad keeper. I still think Robbo deserves the first choice though, with Green an able deputy. Thing is neither are truly world class, and prone to the odd howler every now and then. Get old safe hands (in his prime) back! :P :D

If you ask me James is a better keeper than either of them. And he's not as error prone anymore now, but you can't bring him back sadly due to age.

Robinson is not good enough, anyone who's seen England this year will see that. Shocking in the qualifiers, didnt get anywhere near a penalty in the shootout against Portugal when Ricardo saved 3.

Kirkland and Carson are the best up and coming keepers, it's just a shame Kirkland appears to be made of polystyrene.

Hmmm, if i had to pick a team....

GK - Robinson
*RB - Neville
*LB - Cole
*CB - Ferdinand
*CB - Terry
RM - Lennon
*LM - Cole
*CM - Gerrard
CM - Hargreaves
*ST - Rooney
ST - Owen

Cant go much wrong there i think? 6 starred players i think all would agree have to play? I like Beckham but i think his time is up (i think a move to the US is an admission of that himself) so Lennon comes in to add some pace. Hargreaves is the kind of player Gerrard needs to play with for it to work, i like Lamps but him and Gerrard dont work. I still think when Owen is fit you will find it hard to find a better goalscorer.

Subs
Green
Dawson
Richards
Lamps
Becks
Barry
Crouch
Johnson

7 Subs can i have that many? Anyway.... Green is close on Robinsons heels any more errors from Robbo and he should be replaced. Dawson is a quality player (This from a Derby Fan) and will be pushing for a spot in no time. I forgot about Richards to be honest till i did the subs but i still prefer Neville at RB. Becks and Lamps as backup are good options and i have liked Barry from when he first boke in the Villa side. Crouch has his knockers but he has performed on the pitch and done his job more often than these "better" players. I also think Johnson is in line for a place if Owen decides to get injured again.
