50P Per Spin Is it Worth It

Post by rollem »

I went out for my weekly gamble today and come across two 50p a spin machines.

They claim to pay 6% extra payout ?

Whats the verdict on this?

Why are they making the spins go so quickly. First mega spins now 50 P a play, maybe part of some major plan next years machines taking easy £30 no board.

Decided to play the barcrest, cant remember what machine it was on 30 p play it played like shit. Came back to it later after a few had gone in it on 50p and played like a saint.

Should we all be playing 50p per spin? Are the £35 JP 50P a spin going to appear and are red gamings going to be in the bubble cabinets.

I dont like the change. Sketchey gambles to come in 2007.

Merry Christmas to all and happy gambles! Roll'Em

I've had some brilliant results on Reds that have 50p spin! Had lot's of £100 banks from no more than £40 in!

On A Roll seems to be their new 'flagship' for the 50p spin. There's three near me, and one of them had the 'Spin select' button knackered, and it was stuck on normal play, which is 'not' the best, but still took it for a big £95!

I will say however, that this does take away a lot of the gameplay to a machine. Standing there with your finger held down on Start and feeding cash in the slot is not overly exciting!

50p a play on some other machines though doesn't seem to be as 'good'. Some added features of playing with 50p a spin:

- Double Numbers
- Numbers in View
- Starting feature with Super Board opened
- 6% increase in payout

On the point of 6%, I can't quite get my head around it. How does playing on one 'mode' effect 'the other mode'? It seems that if someone stonks over £100 (for example) out whilst playing on +6%, would this not put the machine 'waaaayy' under percentage for anyone who plays on normal?

I've a few different thoughts on it, but it'd certainly be interesting to find out from someone 'in the know'! ;)

Had some quality results on On a Roll's too Matt. The 50p meag spin is crazy, you just seem to go in on £10 and £15 all the time, obviously that is not the case but it does feel like that.

Not sure how the 6% thing is going to work, whether it is added to the main reflex or added into a 50p pot that all wins on 50p come out of who knows? I have played a Mental Money Monster and it there seems to be no difference between the 30p and 50p modes, so I imagine the extra 6% is going into a streak pot.

My mate had a thought that maybe each mode had it's own percentage payout.

But if that were true you could hammer 50p play then convert to 30p play and hammer that as well.

Sounded reasonable-ish at first though.

thsoe metal money monsters are really poor. notice the button says "50P play super payouts" or something along the lines. its like baically blackmail to get you onto the higher stake. the new £35 jackpots that only have the £35 bit in the top feature. Strange?

I think it might be just a speeding up thing especially when its 50p spin and £25 top. Ive played a invincible on 50p spin, had good results on it as well!!!

If you get 6% better payout, why on earth would you not play it on 50p? (except if you wanted to get the highest number of spins you could)

most of the machines that are comming out will have been designed for £25 jackpots, and simply rmade so the top feature is a £35 one,

the 6% is not from a second payout loop, its all built in, and probably has many flaws in it

this is all going to be ironed out within a few months, and machines designed for £35 release and not £25 will appear and get better , then stay good then get worse then go total shit, just like £25 did

similar things happened when

the jackpot went from £10 to £15
the note changer was installed,
the jackpot went from £15 to £25
the note acceptor was installed

everything had its good and bad points, from free change and a returned note, to machines taking £80 between wins/nudges/gameplay

people missing lines of code so that the lowest amount on a feature span in the pot,

miscalculations on everything, meaning that new improved things on the machines made errors that resulted in emptys

this is just the next step in the cycle.... anyone in the know will be making a fortune within a few months... and anyone out of the loop will be fucked...

just like the era of

crazy fruits down under release on £25
jackpoteers getting to £25
big brother conversion to £25 on an earlyer S/W to the frenzy rechip
fruitopia conversions
just the ticket / special brew IM error
snake rattle roll and clones jazzed up superhold because of the nudge lights being active
vivid updated to £25 and missing a few things

6 months of money making heaven for the ones who knew,

and 6 months of losing everything for the rest of the gaming community

these next few weeks are gonna be very fucked up....

were are the £35's appearing most?

so what your saying Dunhamzzz isto play the 50p play £25JP's not the £35 ones.

Thinking about it, what would a streak give on a £35 JP because say on Reds , a typical streak would be 3 JP's =£75. 2 JP's on a £35 JP would only amount to £70, surely it wouldn't give more than 2 to give a £105 bank.

be nice though

Totally agree spyder! I gurantee that in a few months there will be numerous Jp steals, quick wins and mts on the £35ers. Happens loads of times in the past.

At first you will think they are shit but there will be so many flaws in them it will be unreal.

Wow Stopnstep, that's some streak, only played one at the moment 'Spice it up' i think it's called - only went for £35 from the top feature though, have you heard of it?

You just can't beat Reds, when they streak - They streak
