£4 starts..... you chase at £4 starts.... Hell, you chase at £3 and above.darren223 wrote:I could really do with em tooops:
Never really bothered as i have one keyer and no other modern extremes.(so only one to play!)
The keyer would be a huge earner, people do it occasionally but not with setups.
Was backing today with $4 starts and decided to try and milk it a little, made $15 which seems very poor![]()
setups for extreme
£4 start? i'd go for JP all day long then play it after JP as if u've just got on the machine - normally still loads of life in it after JP.
Also the good thing about most daunting is that as it's an old one u can still collect on a question mark - makes a fair bit of difference.
But don't forget u can't collect the cashpot on a question mark....

I've had let em spin Strawbs before and pretty sure I've had a £5 from Super Start. I push if I see consecutive £3.00 extra cash. Although £2.40 is the same amount technically it seems to cost that bit extra from here.anfield road wrote:I chase from £2.40 starts mate, all I was saying was it must have being off its jekyl and hyde to be offering the £4 start.
Does this start at £5?
As for only making a few quid of £4 starts: when they're that buzzing it can take a while to kill them off a bit so they start holding in properly. Can be really frustrating even with a key and set-ups, but if you stick with it they come good. But I would have pushed it from here anyway.
You do NOT force at £2.40 I can garauntee that unless it repeats big willie style you will be down. Thats way to early. There is a big diference between 2.40 and 3.00 starts which a lot of naive people don't see.anfield road wrote:I chase from £2.40 starts mate, all I was saying was it must have being off its jekyl and hyde to be offering the £4 start.

Being back in full time education, and christmas being close hence in need of extra cash, i finally unquit and played one of these for the first time today...
First board for £2 odd in, started on £1.20, managed to nudge trick £10.
Now shocked and suprised by this happening i took the £10 and left.
What i'd like to know is, is there more value in this machine after you use a nudge trick, or is it just a case of taking something decent and leaving it??
Regards.

if the machine is say 3 shots 2 nudges and £2.40 cash and i get £15 on nudges then i would carry on, but if its 1 shot 1 nudge and 1 cash and you get a big win i would walk [except j/p it might roll] cause it will more than likely cost £8 for board and be stone deaddrpepper wrote:Being back in full time education, and christmas being close hence in need of extra cash, i finally unquit and played one of these for the first time today...

I agree, it really depends what it was doing beforehand.extreme eddie wrote:if the machine is say 3 shots 2 nudges and £2.40 cash and i get £15 on nudges then i would carry on, but if its 1 shot 1 nudge and 1 cash and you get a big win i would walk [except j/p it might roll] cause it will more than likely cost £8 for board and be stone deaddrpepper wrote:Being back in full time education, and christmas being close hence in need of extra cash, i finally unquit and played one of these for the first time today...

Within the last week i had a happy campers £2.40 start - with 4 spins (always a good sign) - forced it and it repeated twice for the £75. Sweet.
Then a few days later got a red board on my unchipped Most Daunting - again £75. About time though - the first red board i've had on it and it's been in there 2 about 2 months.
