Ok Beardy, we get your argument now with Glendale.
Now give it a rest.

I could name many players who've brought newbies into the game - I brought one - and theres hardly a player who's not guilty of this.
I won't do it again, but I admit it.

Twenty odd years ago, Hastings was a hub for extremely good players, but most got jobs, others moved away and I stayed there before moving to Canterbury some years later.
Now there are at least seven living there now and have brought family members into the game.
No problem, I'll just have to work harder.

im as guilty as jord ,,,,,,,,, i brought one player into the game ,,,,,,,,,,,,, but he doesn't play anymore ,,,,, and hasn't for a long time now .

none of are squeaky clean ,,,,,,,,, and mine was a family relative on his arse at the time ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but its by the by now.

anyhow ,,,,,,,, a serious question to beardy .

who brought you into the game m8 ? ,,,,,,,,,, and please dont insult my intelligence by saying your completely self taught ,,,,,,,,,,,,, even if you have worked a thing or two out yourself ,,,,,,,,, we are all part of the chain ,,,,,, and your contact/s DO GIVE YOU STUFF.

who he is/they are ,, isn't important (we dont need any names )

the main question im trying to ask you is ,,,,,,,, whats your view on him/them ????

surely they are guilty of clueing you up ,,,,,,,,,,, so does that make them complete bigmouth wankers ,? ,,,,,,,, or your trusted comrades in arms.?

in other words you can slag glendale off all you like ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but its all a bit double standards chestnut time isn't it ????

im not starting any rows ,,,,,,,,,,,,, i just want an answer

It really is always a case of closing the door behind you. Did people tell me stuff years back, when I knew nothing? Yes. Whats my opinion of them? Just as foolhardy as Glendale. I massaged their egos and they lapped it up. Some of them are nice guys, but I don't speak to any of them now. Do I work out all my own things? No. But at least I'm working with people who have been playing a while. Do I know they don't pass on stuff to anyone else? Yes, because as soon as they did you'd get a phone call about it. Try just making up some phoney machine name and telling a contact you have an empty on it...if you hear back within the hour from someone else, you have leaky contacts.

but your still working with people that give you stuff now .

what does that make them ,,,,,,,,,,,???

y'see ,,,,,,,,, its not so cut n dry to just single out glendale is it ? ,,,,,,,,,, cmon your an intelligent man ,,,,,,, surely you can see the paradox you've started with this.

No. There is a big difference between a closed loop and an open one. You're making two points, and I'll address them both. Firstly, if I found out that anyone I speak to had passed stuff on further than intended, I'd drop them pretty quick. So if Glendale was my contact, and I found out his antics in the north-east, he wouldn't be recieving anything from me again.

And if you have something really good, and you know which people should or should not know it, you're free to move around the country at will and exploit as you please, without fear of competition.

It would be hypocrisy if the people involved were: not already on the scene; were threatening people; were boasting,etc.... but I'm done with people like that.

yes we all make our mistakes

im sure glendale has made his ,,,,,,,,,,,, are you sure he hasn't closed his links to whoever these newcastle people are now ???

why dont you try asking him ,,,,,,, civil ,,,,,, adult like

but again ,,,,,, if they (who ever they are lol) haven't fucked glendale over ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, why should glendale close his links with them ?

what makes glendale's contacts , his contacts contacts , my contacts , your contacts any more important than the next mans ?

look i agree with you (its not rocket science lol) that the less people that have something , the better ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but everybody on the chain has to start somewhere ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and all of us old boy lifers lol have made wrong choices in the people we have confided in etc. ,,,,,,,,,,,,, we all have regrets and people we have cut off etc

the fact remains though,,,,,,, whether you like it or not,,,,,,,,, that even your numero uno best contact ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, when he gives you even the smallest tit bit of helpful info etc ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, is as guilty as glendale ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, its just that he made the right judgement in you ,,,,, because it wont go past your lips.

ive only met glendale once ,,,,,,, at an xmas fruitchat do ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so i dont know him from adam ,,,,,,,,,,, so im not outright defending him .

im mearly questioning your concept of ''your contacts are more important fallacy '' ,,,,,,,,,,,, its a paradox ,,,,,,,,, and a joke

And I must disagree about another point. Passing information is nothing new. When things are shared between two people and it goes no further; that is one thing. I'm sure if Glendale had only told Paul info, and they'd both been a little bit more selective about where it went from there...we wouldn't be having this discussion.

it beats me.
i never heard of him,
alot of information does gets leaked.
the only way to survive in this industry is to work out your own trick,
hire security perhaps the chief or his twin brother.
there WILL be tough times ahead & im sure the profits will go down by a few hundred pounds per week.
its dog eat dog out there & plenty of sharks that hang around the wetherspooons & pretend to play the quiz game & shark any professional that plays the latest fruit that has a potential glitch.
i have been playing fruit machines since day one & nobody had clued me up.
i worked everything out by myself & i keep the latest information to myself.
i even have to keep top information a secret from my driver.
i hope noels beard can leave glendale alone as im sure noels beard gets plenty of information from the top boys.
