They're starting in Bury, a few miles up the road from m/c, and they're causing bother about a mile from where I live.
So this started because a Policeman shot somebody huh and it escalates to rioting, looting and thuggery. Yes, I'd shoot the lot of them too.
If it wasn't for the fact 90% of the perpetrators are under 18 (up here they are) I'd call it oppression which in turn has led to anarchy. It's society unleashing so much pent up frustration accumulated during the past few years. The dole dossers and the minimum wagers being detached and left behind because the rich get richer and obviously the poor/low income piss against the wind even more so.
Sadly, that isn't the case. It's little scrotey, scumbag, horrible chancers taking the piss and giving two fingers to this countrys joke of a police force. Apparantly the police are gonna work around the clock to apprehend these little fuckers......then send 'em packing with an £80 fine for disturbing the peace no doubt.
Shoot the lot of 'em or at least send them onto the frontline to be used as cannon fodder or human IED detectors.
I once joked privately with Lee that this country could become very similar to the film Doomsday. You never know lol.........

The rich get richer because they are for the most part finacially astute, not to mention hard-working. They pay the most tax, and for what? So these morons can go out and buy the tracksuits, fags, booze and Xboxes they so desperately need.
The poor get poorer because they are stuck in a downward spiral, to escape from which requires intelligence that they don't have, and hard work for which they are unwilling to expend the time or energy. What you end up with is dysfunctional parents who shit out a few kids in order to get extra benefits and don't bring them up properly.
I see it all the time; fathers with tattoos on their shaved heads ordering their ill-mannered overweight kids about, the mothers puffing meekly on cigarettes, unwilling to interject through fear of getting a slap. They're just waiting for their kids to turn 16 so they can turf them out onto the streets to fend for themselves - it means more money for fags and booze.
The kids grow up bitter at life and slowly turn into the parents they despise so much. At this point they are fucked. No qualifications so they can't get a job, so they fall back on state handouts. The Government make it too easy for them to settle for an existence as pitiful at this, and they can't conceive of a better way of life. They despise the rich through sheer jealousy; yet these are the people that are propping the country up, and who may offer them a way out of their predicament.

You make good sense there Mr. Plum.
This whole episode is actually giving us a pretty good idea of just how deeply the poor parenting issue actually sits; ask them why their preteen kids are out on the streets at midnight and they won't even register that there's a problem.
MJD - I have no problem with you hating the Government, but what the hell does that have to do with these peoples' actions? Smashing up shops simply means that people can't spend money in them and the economy slows (even more so than it is already) as a result, putting an even greater distance between these people and a better quality of life. Stupidity on these levels isn't the fault of the current Government, it's society failing itself.
You can bet your bottom dollar that the very people who have set fire to cars over the last few nights will be among the first to bemoan sky-high insurance premiums (when they're eventually old enough to drive).

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

wether kesh is taking the piss or not with his comment im not sure ( i cant tell lately ) .
but i actually agree with him .
it may sound a bit barbaric ,,,,,,,,,,,, but the prime minister could stop the loss of millions of pounds worth of damage and harm to innocents in one night.
just announce that he is issuing orders to the police force to use real ammo , and that any looters found in shops will be shot in the legs.
this will never happen in our namby pamby british government of course ......... im dreaming ,,,,,,,,,,,, but if it were announced ,,,,,,,,,,, all these so called rude boy gangsta chavs would soon fuck off home.
in some countries this would be the first policy .
ok so it'll never happen , but what do you do with these people ,,,,,,,,,,,, our prison's are already over filled , and ,,,,,,, fines however big or community service is no longer an effective deterrent .
give the police powers to mame lol .
this would never have happened in countries like turkey.

Good points about the police having no force at all compared to what is needed to get rid of these fools.
I can't see what the fascination is with dressing smart my best days punting is getting an early finish then going out with paint all over me. I bumped in to a player he was on star wars and I was on a perfect and the bar wifey was going mental 'people have put there hard earned cash in there for you to show your face and walk out all smug with the money'... There is me stood in my light blue tea shirt no make. Baggy trackies with all colours on..... He's barred I'm not.
Only time I dress smart is when I'm going out do hair etc... Every other day I wear what I want to wear I cudn't care what people say.. Not having a go there just putting my point across. In my eyes I like to look different when I go out not the same as what I do every other day.
Apologies if this is topic drifting...

Looks like its all coming to an end..
I hate the Government because where I work (in the Civil Service) we have an unacceptable equality shortfall which is starting to make me lose it. They were 'voted in by us' (My vote went elsewhere) and I really do want 'us' to pay the price! I love recession, I love 'the struggle' and to cap it all off Im liking this..
We can say 'This never happened when Labour ran our country, and its the 80s all over again'
i respect the people who make a stand immensely, because lets face it, what the fucking hell have many young people got prospect wise? We have all entered life in the wrong era, and I can't see it being any better for future generations??
Am I proud to be British? I was before I grew up a bit. Then I realised that its a joke of a country.
