This thread has nothing to do with the potential correlation between fruit machines players, winners and fat bastards (I am the latter, not the former)

Love chillies myself, like blackmogu says the scotch bonnet do have a lovely fruity carribean taste to em...

I suppose you sort of get used to milder ones to start and progress on to hotter, it's wierd to explain to a non-chilli head its not that u enjoy the pain of the heat, it's the flavour in the heat, chillis have a massive full on flavour and once ur hooked anything else non-spicy (bar sweet things which is a completely different taste) just tastes bland compared to the MASSIVE oommmph of the chilli.

I ate a really hot vindaloo Friday night, I said to the misses in the morning 'my bloody arse is hurting!' she said 'ring sting?' so I replied 'and what's he gonna do about it!!'

I've had an allergic reaction to some of those hot feckers. My face swelled up, got a real itchy feeling and I looked like I had fought Tyson. Gave up after that.

i once had a 14 inch mega saurus pizza

the bastad was smothered in sliced scotch bonnets and ghost pepper sauce, i had one slice and was o.kish whilst still eating it.

on completion of said slice almost immediately my eyes were streaming, my nose was running, i had hiccups and my mouth, tongue and lips had become quite warm .

i had to run my mouth under a cold tap for about 20 minutes to get it back to a bearable level.

the next day's morning throne duty was neither pretty nor painless.

i still had 7/8ths left and elected to take them into work where a few people tried the odd bite or two and ended up binning the rest of their slice.

one foolhardy lad had the remaining half pizza and to be fair to him he ate most of it before he spontaneously combusted in the gents for over half an hour.

he wasn't in the next day either poor sod
