people say that they have phones that match iphone all the time, and theyre half right,
you can get a phone that has the same display or camera or battery life, but iphones have an app for everything.
you can get free themes and games and apps and a lot lot more than even android can give, and you have itunes :) .
and if you break the screen you can replace just the glass on the front not the whole screen, i got one done in woolwich for £25 last week and it only took 30min.
iphone ftw.

Thinking of getting one of them I-phones myself now to be honest. I am one of those guys who likes to buy and sell tons of different things and have found the girlfriends I-phone to be essential to help get an idea of prices or more information on the goods I am looking at at the time. I used to say I just want a phone to be a phone, but I am quickly coming round to the idea of it doing more!
how about a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray.

Strippers prefer iPhones Nixxy. They won't be impressed when you pull out your clunky blackberry !

Interesting reading your various thoughts - thanks for posting them.

Lee made the important point about what I want from a phone, and I'm not exactly fussy when it comes to this sort of thing - I just want it to make calls, send texts and tell me the football scores. And I don't need to be paying a ridiculous amount just for those basics. Anything else will essentially be a nice distraction.

I gather the battery issue exists on almost all smartphones - but can be eased by a bit of 'task killing'. My mate's HTC seems to die 3 times a day (she is - however - disadvantaged by being a woman).

Gonna have a tinker with a few other phones and make sure I'm not gonna get fleeced before I commit to something.

Oh, well forget everything I just typed - an iPhone it'll have to be then!

Just brought the HTC hd7. on it now. The only fault I can find so far, is the back of the phone gets hot whilst in use. I'll report more when I get to know it better.

I plumped for a Galaxy S in the end.

Seems to work very nicely and the porn is in HD, so I'm happy

I've got the hd, anybody suggesting Blackberry must be avin a larf they're years behind in every possible sense. It should only really be between the hd and the I4, they're both as good as it gets, the one big thing for me though is the iPhone holds its valuable better than anything and in hindsight I should have got that. Keep your display at at a sensible level on the hd and the battery life will be sound.

True about iphones holding value - after my iphone3 contract was up after 2 years, I sold the phone (with a small crack on the case !) on ebay for £250.00

I was immensely pissed off that the wife dropped her iphone off the balcony 6 floors below a week beforehand !
