GATW advice on LP DOND
I was on my local "Let's Play", the Psycho Cash Beast-hybrid machine. After £18 in and a few features, it gave me a GATW during mid-game not at the beginning. It went like this:
1. Feature started with 2 levels open and a little bit of red on those 2 levels.
2. The game promptly opened level 3 and cash or bust was advised to be £15. Superstreak tile was highlighted.
3. Level 4 opens and the phones became active. Megastreak (white) was instantly highlighted on my next shot. I dared not shoot any more.
4. The 3 phones went red after a few more presses.
5. The cash ladder hits £70 but it appears that there was nothing else constructive that I could do other than take the MS on level 4. MS was still highlighted and white and I couldn't see how to turn it red.
6. I collected MS and it went for a flat £70. I'm still pleased though because I've been doing unusually well on the AWPs this year so far. (probably jinxed it now)
Was collecting MS the right thing to do at that point of time? Obviously taking the phones wasn't viable because there is no MS box.
Thanks :-)

"I think you're going to go away with a lot of money."
Red MS and normal MS will pay the same to reach the desired percentage payout but people pyschollogically go for the red because it is a little more difficult to get. I don't take them shots at all really because you usually sense something like GATW coming in them situations. My verdict is that you haven't lost out on any money anyway mate!

how about a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray.

Yep was going to say the same....if every level is open, landing on the extra level square again firstly changes level 1 all red. Another hi/lo or land on that square again and level 2 goes red, and so on. Pretty sure it would have given you the same outcome - ie £70 MS.

as it didnt repeat at all then this is probably right (red=no difference)
some machines on a "red" top, it means the machine has to repeat in jackpot amounts (for the first repeat on £70's)
meaning, a normal top can do £70 then £15 or any random amount, but a red top has to do £70 then another £70
used to be on £25's and £35's meaning £25,£50 or £75 and £35,£70 or £105 respectively
on most machines red feature on the top means feck all
