Does any fruit chat posterers still have any 20p tokens from the 90's or even the 10p tokens from the 80's.
Did you try to get rid of your tokens or have you kept them as souvenirs.

I still have a few 10p tokens, 20p tokens & quite a few prize tokens. :P

Yeah some 10p and 20p JPM Tokens. Also some silver coloured Deith ones with the slots in.

I too have 20p jpm tokens, & 10p barcrest tokens, i also have a few 20p pay master tokens, a few silver mhg tokens which they took in the Mr B's in Blackpool.

A friend of mine used to work in a metal stamping company. Wasn't difficult to make his own tokens after work with off cuts. Until he emptied every machine in The George Hotel, Reading. He went back the next day and was nicked by plod. Got six months in about 1985.

I've got a handfull of 20p tokens that were left over from where I used to work.

I inherited almost the entire token float when my mate bought the arcade in 98 in lieu of wages lmfao.I'm talking several grands worth,by the flukiest stroke of luck ever they fit the machines at Felixstowe pier where we used work and also south pier in lowie.

They had to be taken back in two car loads as the car was sitting very low with them in the boot.I had to go through the whole lot to remove all the personalised ones so I didn't arouse any suspicion too.

I don't know how the fuck they didn't realise there token float had put on so much weight but I had been assured priorly that they hadn't a scooby how many they had in the first place lol.

It's a shame that it was late February and the whole place was on it's arse because I could have made so much more in the summer. I did think about holding a lot of them back but plans were already underway there to phase out a lot of the token machines.

I suppose I did alright out of them all the same ,certainly made a shit load more than I would have been paid in real money.

My local pub had two what I call open mech token slots, this meant I could use tokens in the pub machines from all of my local arcades, u could also buy drinks and fags with them to!!!

Then after I'd been doing it for about two years and the cash jackpots came out he sold me all of them back for a score!!! I had about a grands worth!!! Sorted them all out into the different arcades and then went and cleared up!!!

Good dividends!!
