Getting paid out in notes

Post by ROSSKEEN »

When did this start happening?

I'm sure the serious lads will say they've been about for ages but played a Take it or leave it (the one with the 3 areas where you can 'lock in' and area - i.e. a direct clone of something else which totally escapes me the now) and got £12 off the 'phones' feature.

Hit collect and got a display of something like "please remove note". Fumbled about in the tray thinking the hopper was empty, then the barman game over and showed me the £10 hanging out the note acceptor.

Honestly had never seen this before today.

Technology my friend. I wonder when the tool comes out to remove all notes in 5 seconds without the need to even buy a drink. I guess it'll be out when Tom's out... how long's he got left?

These kind of people don't really hang about in pubs but it could well happen in arcades etc.
how about a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray.

We'll be seeing £20 notes being paid out on Cat C's soon. They are already installed on the £500s on services and selected arcades.
