I would never do it, but ive told my friends on numerous occasions how Sh$t life is, and as Vince McMahon once said 'Life Sucks and then you die'

Had a right barny with my mum before, its a bad state.. Basically death is the only thing thats good for me!

Im never having kids, because why put them through this??? Life is bullshite. You would have to be a right greedy cunt to put someone through it..

I've heard several people say this, and i'm sorry mate but your wrong. Kids are the greatest thing in the world, I know we live in a shitty world of tax's but that's for them to experience when they grow up, for now my kids are my world, I go to work to earn money to get them what they want, I look forward every day to come home to see them.

People who don't have children are the greedy cunts, they do everything for themselves, never mind their parents who want to be grandparents, or society that needs it to survive. Lifes shit, but we make the best of it, and so do most other people, only the weak blame others.

for us full time players , life truly is an emotional rollercoaster ,,,,,, with many false highs n lows ,,,,,, that in the grand scheme of things dont really matter.

for example ,,,,,,, you go out for a full day , come home 50 down , totally totally pissed off and depressed ,,,,,,,,,,,, but then you switch the telly on and hear of people dying in a plane crash or whatever ,,,,,,,,,,,,, you suddenly snap out of your depression , and realise what a namby pamby twat you are ,,,,,,, ''wtf was i moaning at ? at least im alive and well etc'' ,,,,,,,,,,, then you go out and make it back plus extra the next day , and everything seems fine in the world again ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, totally false

at least in a regular job , you know exactly what your taking home each week ,,,,,,, and so can just get depressed over real life issues,,,,,,, not petty falsehoods

the best way to get out of depression , is simply to focus on whats truly important in your life , I,E your family etc ,,,,,,,,,, try to help others (despite your own situation ) ,,,,,, it will amaze you what raising a smile on a loved ones face , will do for your own sense of purpose and accomplishment.

Depression is about wider issues, and very difficult to understand unless you have been through it. Losing a fifty on a machine that plays up is most certainly not going to make you depressed, even though you may feel like it. Around the time I started doing P1 dials I became very depressed, lying in bed literally all day and night, agonising over various issues, when there was an easy grand a day or so to go out and collect. The money meant fuck all to me, and instead I felt like throwing myself off the balcony of my brothers flat. I lived on a diet of spirits and painkillers and several times I felt perilously close to just breaking down. I was told to go to the doctors, who suggested some anti depressants, but I didn't want to go down that road, having been down it previously, and besides there is no quick fix as it would have been six weeks until any pills kicked in. Just talking about it at length made a noticable difference, and I was soon looking at life from a different perspective.

What that little episode taught me is that no amount of money can make any one person fulfilled, especially the way players come about the money. Playing machines for a living is not fulfilling. Making a difference to other peoples lives does. I know several people who are depressed, but they don't realise it.

Gambogaz- that comment about people not having kids being greedy quite frankly is fucking absurd. I've no intention of ever having kids (never say never though) because I'm having enough trouble sorting my own life out, and bringing a child into this world would be unfair of me, as i'm not sure i'd be doing a great job raising it. That is my choice. The same choice that pikey scrougers make when they have 12 kids in as many years, and live off the state to the tune of 40k a year. It is their right to have children, but they are abusing the gift of reproduction to live a comfortable life at the expense of the taxpayer. Fucking disgusting, but its made too easy for people to sponge off the government and give nothing back. Its true that people need to reproduce for us to survive as a race, but it seems that all these council estate trash families have the same mantra, more kids equals more money. I don't think we need to worry about mankind being wiped out....

A friend once said to me that kids are an investment, an investment that don't reap any rewards for the first 18 years. After this time all you can do is hope they become good enough at something to support you in your later years. If you enjoy your freedom, don't have kids.

People left behind must suffer enormously.

If you haven't had depression then you couldn't possibly understand it. Ther's a big difference between this and having a bad day.
