One of the best gritty dosplays ever from our openers, draw should be about safe. Move on to game 2, no fuck ups this time with reviews and missed chances and we'll 'ave em!!

I don't understand what they're trying to achieve by giving teams 2 reviews. If the object of the system is to eliminate umpiring clangers, then one review is all that is needed. Giving them a second review encourages fielding sides to take a punt on buying a wicket they should never really have taken, and worse still it sends youngsters the message that it's perfectly OK to challenge an umpire's authority.

Great fightback by the top three last night ... hopefully Cook will get his double and Trott his ton and we will finally have arrested this awful run of defeats in Brisbane.
