car insurance
The simple fact is every insurer has different criteria, so not everyone will be cheapest with the same. You'll obviously get Hastings/Swift etc near the top most times as that's their big sell, but also some surprises....Santander randomly cropped up as 2nd cheapest on my new car, never given them a second glance before hand!

ok , after consulting confused , and making a few phone calls to those suggested by your good selves ,,,,,,,,,,, im still with admiral
the cheapest i found was 580 ,,,,,,,,,,, so told admiral , they said they would try to price match it ,,,,,,,,,,,,, rang me back ,,,,,, said the best they could do was 611 ,,,,,,, so i went with them ,,,,, for the sake of a few quid , i hadn't got to mess with any other paperwork , and debit card pissing about ,,,,,,,,, they already have all my details , so it just carries on automatically .
why so expensive lee , i hear you cry ,,,,,,,,, arnt you a crumbly old 38 year old whose been driving 20 years ????
yeah but i currently have 8 points ,,,,,,,,,, 3 for an sp30 ,,,,,,,, and 5 for getting caught on the moby.
admiral said the moby conviction added 160 to my policy alone .
ah well ,,,,,,,,,,,, thanks for trying everyone.

I've just gone halves on another car with my mate - an Audi A4 convertible. (wrong time of year I know but at least we've got a car each now) and I'm not looking forward to the quotes, but Swiftcover are usually cheapest.
I've always had a clean licence, but he stacked the last car so no doubt they'll sting us for that.

The Duke of betchington Betchrider
I know not all insurers are available on comparison sites but for the last 3 years we have swapped my lifes insurance and significantly reduced the cost without compromising cover. Off memory kwik fit to Hastings now admiral. Each time the renewal has come in much higher though so its essential to repeat the process year on year.

No mate! I know what you mean though!
I was walking past a Dealership a couple of weeks back and saw it. A quick chat & test drive, two inspections and a haggle later, bought it for £8,000.
Bad thing is though, I'll hardly get to drive it!
Just saw an Aston Martin on a 56 plate for sale at £36k
Not really an active players car though eh?
