It may be a better clue, but I'm still flummoxed.
What am I not allowed to love? Protestants? Catholics? Small boys? Dogtanian?
What could you be carrying??? Rosary beads? Paracetamol? WU dictionary? Condoms?

all of the above
still not right though.
okay there is a line in the song about flowers wilting in the garden when
"you" left. because she stopped going into the garden as a direct result of
"you" leaving. she also says her doctor is a fool and that she can now eat her dinner in a fancy restaunt all of which relate to giving something up.

Ah, cigarettes. It all makes sense now. Unless she has bowel trouble and constantly wets herself, but that would only half make sense. Do journalists have to wet their pants then to pass their exams? Anything resembling the truth and a dry chair means the candidate fails?
Actually, CR probably has the right idea.
Still kicking about.

i can't believe anyone would want one but inguistically it might be an inert drug which makes the taker think they are getting worse.

Well done, it's the opposite of a placebo.
Back to you, unless you've buggered off for the weekend, in which case it'll be a quiet old quiz forum.
