when the bust for cp info came out im sure it said you was meant to go for it on £1 lol, i know someone who put £250 in a brt for nothing back and left skint :/
but my mate alex played a gold £70 on 25 & 50p and £1 was on £63 and it was over the back.
cost him £178 for the cashpot then winstepper and left £70 down :/

me and scottish bob took a 70 loss on a gold 25p and 50p were on 70 we played 50p and put 100odd in for a £35 box and left :/ .

i dont like these anymore :(

Trouble is, they can do £70 COBs off the box and the stack, which means the COB is gone, but pot still there....same thing with game, £70 game goes....you think pots there, doesn't come. Usually safe on 50p with max, but you can get stuffed sometimes.

Had a scenario once where I was left (from the game) CP (£70) and the £70 left and two other boxes, which it couldn't be (not lit on both panels). It then eliminated the other two, leaving CP and £70! :o Thinking carefully, I then took the offer of £70, which left the CP at £70 (of course, it would've reset it if it had been CP in the box (which I think it was)).

It cobbed for that about three boards later. :)

Rare as for it to leave you in that situation, but worth remembering if it does...

I put a quid in one that was on 70 cashpot on 50p, first credit went hold em all for mixed sevens which did a 20 quid cob, 5 of that back over for a 70 non cashpot cob for a beautiful 84 quid prof, wouldn't like to be the person who chased the pot out!

I remember me, Martal and my other mate took a Deal Gold on ages ago, first board did a GATW for £140, then all 3 cashpots from each stake followed for a healthy profit, and its been down hill ever since, don't bother with em no more, fair play if you win off these, but the losses out weigh the wins for me, so i avoid.

Yeah, I've decided I'm not all that fussed about the contents of the CP.

My theory is that the CP is paid out from the same pool of money. The way we see it increase on every spin gives the impression that it's an extra pot. But I doubt this is the case.

I think there might be a certain amount of correlation between the readiness of the machine and the size of the CP but it's probably not as much as people might think. eg, the CP being low could simply be because the machine has been awarding it in small amounts. The CP might be maxed because it hasn't been paying it but has been paying wins via other methods. eg, starting with two identical machines two players both put £100 in. On their last spin the first player COBs the CP, resetting it to £10. The second player COBs the £70 cash stack. Machine A is showing a £10 CP. Machine B is showing a £70 CP. But both machines are at the same payout %. But people see the £70 CP on machine B and are more likely to chase it.

I'd be wary of a machine with an empty CP though. It implies that something has just been paid out. And that something could easily be a JP.

And I'd also be wary of a £70 CP. The machine may easily have paid out via other means and have no intention of parting with the CP any time soon.

My assesement of this may be wrong but this is how I assume it's working based off my experiences with the machines, and how I think it's likely to work as a marketing tool.

On the subject of COBs I've had a couple of unexpected ones today. The first was £70 on a gold off the cash stack on my first board - never seen it COB the jackpot before. And the second was £40 on a LPDOND - not as big obviously but i've never actually seen it COB this amount before and I've put lots and lots and lots of hours into this machine. It's usually £10/L3feature max or the phones game. (I did once have it randomly COB the jackpot feature - nearly spat my drink out in suprise lol)

The main problem I have with them is because of the uncertainty even when you think it's playing well you're still bricking it all the way through so there's no real enjoyable game play, I tend to have one or two boards cob it and then avoid.

ive cob'ed a few £70s from brt and golds but never seen a £70 cob on any other dond.
my 1st time i busted a £70 box leaving the cp at £70 and the last time was a brt and i busted the 70 on the stack leaving the cp at 70 also :/

i feel sorry for whoever tries for the cp next coz i dont think it gives :/

i played a bankers bonus for the 1st time and the 25p cp was on 70 and the 50p cp had just reset so i knew it had been had, i busted it for a few boards coz low stacks and got the 70cp but didnt expect it atall :/
