Hmm...Apparently more impressive. Use of "apparently", could denote different interpretations of "impressive". Could mean a record that's better than the mens, or perhaps the holder is very far in front of the 2nd best.
Now I know no record holders really...so I'm going to go for 100m, I think that woman/man controversy story was over that? So she must have been impressive.

It's the discus. The womens world record is 76.8m compared to 76m for the gents. The Dorisses however only contend with a 1kg projectile whereas the men's weighs twice as much.
Both world records were set by East Germans during the mid-1980s which strikes me as dodgy.

I never mastered the discus. Any attempts to throw it usually resulted in a wobbling black blur fluttering over the grand sum of about ten metres.
