sea fishing is my past-time.
"If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?"

I did play a lot of football at semi pro level
A league down from the conference for a while
Felt great to play a game that i love then collect £100 after for playing
A list of injuries and work commitments meant i gradually played less and less and now i just play 5 a side once a week, for a very decent side
We were on sky sports in the 5 a side carling cup in 1996 when i was just 19
Frank McLintock commentated on a couple of our games
We came runners up on penalties out of 10,000 teams at the start
Then in 1998 we entered another 5 a side comp and ended up playing at Highbury
We got past the groups and then we got Terry Venables to manage us further but lost in the quarter finals
Others there were Ron Atkinson, Alan Curbishley, Trevor Francis and a few others including Martin Keown
Then in 2007 with just 2 of the original team remaining and some new additions, we got to play at Wembley in the Umbro Fives and came 3rd overall
And yes the pitch was shit
We did get to use the actual changing rooms and walk out of the tunnel though
Other than that most of my spare time is taken up with my little girl who turned 3 yesterday

I do like my running, I'm OK at it so far, never been in any big rankings or anything, got a couple of top 10 finishes at some minor races and that though. Generally just enjoy it and like it how it is. I've run for our club(26.2 RRC) in county events and sometimes we travel countrywide to take part in the next completely nuts event which I like doing even more!
Apart from that I don't particularly do much...I do like pubs though, I enjpoy sampling new ales that I've never had, just getting into a new setting and enjoying a game of this or that. Including flipping the beer mats a couple of times haha

I helped get this built a couple of weeks back...

A mk1 granada estate, 2.8 v6 engine, went very well indeed over in belgium, until someone decided to do this to it.....
<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cix3EmYnH_4?fs ... ram><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cix3EmYnH_4?fs=1&start=175" hl=en_GB" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385">
He remembers getting run in but doesnt remember the 2nd hit because he went unconscious from it, so on getting him woken up again and the car back to the pits that beautiful mk1 estate then looked like this.....

What a bummer, all that way to get wrecked in the first race!
We did tried to pull it about in strategic places on the back of our lorry over this weekend using the crane and actually managed to get it reasonably straight again with a view to taking it to a smaller meeting over here.
It want really too bad considering how it was, i had panel beated about under the wheelarch and managed to get the inner and outer wings ready to be stitched back together using weld, chassis member could have also been plated up and repaired where it had creased and split, all it needed was a steering rack replaced and another engine and it could have gone one more meeting, but we darent take it really
Would have only took some yahoo trying to make a name for himself turning round and going flat out into the front of it head on or something and that front would have bent back to where it was if not more, could have potentially been a death trap if it took the wrong kind of hit at the wrong angle so we didnt bother in the end.
Then theres the car we took racing yesterday, a T plate mk2 mondeo, we only started building it on tuesday, so from literally being a complete road car to a fully prepped and built banger in only 4 evenings with only 3 of us doing it aint half bad really.

Car went like stink all day, 2.0 zetec with a twin choke webber carb on, absolutely flies, it has a few battle scars now but considering how many cars were on track at once it really has come off lightly, you would see worse damage in a typical high street bump lol
