Super Famicom

Post by MrRed »

I have just been given one of these
It is the Jap version of the SNES and i believe quite rare?

It is brand new never opened or used
The pads and console are still in the original box in the original packaging and sealed

There are no connection cables and i believe this is how they were sold
I.e just the console and pads

Does anyone want to buy it for a start, or know anywhere that a collector may want it?

I have checked ebay only found the one thats been used, and they want £70

Trayhop any interest?? :D

nice of you to think of me m8 ,,,,,,,,,,,, but already have the uk model.

ebay is still your best bet though m8 ,,,,,,,,

the trouble you face with most jap originals , is that some sort of step down power converter is required to power em up ,,,,,,, without blowing em up lol

but most specialised collectors have them anyhow .

hopefully should fetch decent money on ebay .

do yourself a favour , put it on for 10days ,,,,, (not 3) and time it that the bidding finishes on a sunday afternoon (ebays most popular time)
Little discipline = BIG issue

Is Japan NTSC or Pal?

Nice little freebie that is, the difference between that and the UK model is it runs the games 17% faster and I don't think there were any ugly black borders either.

Is the chunky grey and purple US SNES collectable too?
