Still no contact from Games Warehouse........

But keeping the honesty of this thread going - I had a Networked OPEN machine delivered by Fat Spanner on Friday.

Advantage to me is that I no longer need cd's to update the games as they are sent remotely via the dongle to the machine - hopefully this means MORE UPDATE - More Often - hint hint !

But an hour after it was installed it would not take coins.........perhaps I am not meant to have a quiz machine.

However after spending over an hour on the telephone with me and talking me through dismantling the coin mech completely and putting it back together again - voila - it works!! Thankyou Fat Spanner for your patience and help..........

The menu is different on this machine from the Open All Seasons menu I had - its the same games but sub divided into categories on the right hand side - ie skill , quiz, new, popular etc.........very easy to navigate around.

I say its the same games but one of my most played games Total Film Quiz has gone................I know its an old game but it gets played a lot!

So I am back with an OPEN.............

I noticed this glitch ages ago as in months possibly a year ago but as nobody had mentioned it thought it was something to do with my computer

Does it very often gents, I too use to be baffled by it but as no-one mentioned it I presumed it was my computer.

Dave if you go back a page Matt V's post will be at the bottom of it, for some reason now and then it generates a new page but puts the post on the end of the last 1. Or maybe not as I've just checked and theres no post from Matt V lol
