They're everywhere now, it was only last year when my local arcades were mainly £5/10 JP machines, now you can't move for s16's!

I don't understand it though, if the average awp is 80% but most s16's are 94% surely their profits have gone down, not to mention the initial cost of the new machines and the huge license fees :?

Saying that i don't suppose you often get peeps throwing their life savings into an awp, but i've seen a few do it on the s16's!

Maybe but a S16 most of the time is £2 a go where as a £5er is 5-10p, shockingly 25-30p.

A 94% £2 a go machine should make the owner then 12p a spin and a £5er on 10p a go on 80% will make 20p for 10 spins (2p a spin).

In the long run, S16s are making money 6Xs faster :)

Elvis is the worst for me too!

I can just sit there all day playing it!

I've had some great features too, i've had 5 discs that have gone 4 JP on more than on occasion, my best jukebox is £400, i got 5 on the line and when they revealed the amounts were 300, 400 & 500  So i was happy with the four!

And the best guitars i had was 4 on the line which went for £380 :D

After writing that i've just remembered there's several versions of elvis, i'm on about 'top 20' what are you on about?

I have only been brave enough to do one go at £2 on Elvis Top 20 multiplayer. The only time i did it i thought " What the hell" so i pressed max stake and it gave me 4 disks and stopped on £125.

Very lucky.

Good stuff mate!

I rarely play on anything else but £2, only reason being is that's what i started at when i first came across s16's and when you're used to 3 guitars for example being anything from a tenner upto £40, then you play at 10 bob a go and you get them for £1.80, it just makes you think 'what if' as described earlier in this post it probably makes no difference and i've seen it 'hi-roller' JP from 50p play many times, just not for me!

£2 is a pint (nearly) or one spin on S16. I know which one I'd have.
No wonder I drink!

The most i have had for 3 guitars on 50p a go is about £5-£6 and on 4 is about £10. That is the downside of playing 50p ago, although it can be good for 4-5 symbols.

What have people had for 4/5 symbols on 50p per go?

I saw someone get 4 guitars for £25 once but tbh most people round here don't play 50p, they're mainly old ladies spending their life savings as quick as they can

I may try and do £2 a little bit more, i did do £1 a bit, but had no success.

But on 50p the money lasts a bit longer. I am only 18 so my income is not very high, which is why i don't really do £2 a go.

When i was 18 i couldn't afford to play the £15ers so i had to stick to the £4/6 JP machines like popeye, hagar, fairground etc...

They were the days where i could play all weekend from my apprentiship wage of £55 PW and still have enough for a few nights out!

I've Had £233 on the silver pot,£75 on 4 wishie wells, and have seen the gold pot go at £500 for a pound press.
