Global Wild Side Error 'Fail Sec 2e'

Post by steveunderhill »

Hi guys I have a Global Games 'Wild Side' Fruit Machine. Was working great and then on day when I turned it on, about 2-3 months ago, I got an error on the screen by the coin hole. The reels step up when its first turned on and the speaker makes its usual wine and then nothing , If i leave it for arround a minute it makes an awfull noise wich i guess is an alarm to say theres an error.Any help would be much apreciated, as I really dont want to throw it away as its in such good condition. Many thanks, Steve

if this is the same post as before, you should have a little crome or black box near the coin slot which is your sec meter, make sure non of the pins r loose

if not trace the wires back to mpu, look for any breaks in the wires or loose pins on the looms

if you have a multi-meter check for continuity between pins.

will the machine set up with the door open? or with the sec disconnected?

Thanks. The sec meter is where I'm getting the error...

I checked all the wiring and even tried unpluging it but nothing.

I also noticed the sec meter is now showing all zeros rather than befour when there was just a huge number? Could this be at all relevant?

turn your refill key or short out pins on back of refill lock, does the sec meter start step through your meters?

sound like your going to need a new 1 mate, they shouldnt be that much off ebay or something..
