we have a maygay machine works perfect but tried to transfer note acceptor from other machine we also had a £25.00 jackpot italian job with note acceptor we have transfered note acceptor to coronation street and installed wire from square pcb with black box over it and turned machine on lcd display does not say note acceptor found and note load into machine then they are rejected note acceptor has four leds on top only led 2,3 are lit and slow flashing
can anyone help note acceptor are square and grey believe n7

I may be way off the mark with this as you mentioned that the notey was in another machine before, but i know that as a general rule note acceptors need calibrating, which means you need a LOT and i mean LOT of notes in order to calibrate it with first.

If it worked in another Maygay machine, then the note acceptor is almost certainly ok.
I'm assuming that both machines were connected to the note acceptor using the same PCB beneath the black box (the hopper driver board) with the same loom ?
If so, it's highly likely that everything is actually ok, and that you've just forgotten to set the Dill settings accordingly. I would suggest you copy the settings from your 1st machine to your new machine as a starting point, although someone else will probably tell you exactly what the settings should be.
