well played Jonesey, that is phenomenal. really outstanding effort, hard luck with the prefix but 18 is still very, very good.

Thanks Istenem (and Fotherz). Suspect someone's going to get the longer word sooner or later ....

I don't think there's mushroom in a forum like this for pathetic puns, Istenem.

Still - this ought to please you. I rattled in a MUNDANENESSES the other day - which is probably my longest ever word (still got hee-haw points for it).

Managed to get QUINTESSENTIAL today. Not my highest-scoring word, but a word I've tried to get for ages.

Shame I never had another L as I had a Y nearby.

REENCOUNTERED and INCONVENIENCED today in a half-hearted attempt at the obvious. just as well there is free money elsewhere.

bit too busy with real life at the moment than to be playing parlour games.

it doesn't like QUIRINALIA nor ~E/ ~S/ ~N. maybe it wants a capital Q. never mind.

Hmmm DMAC is closing in on my Scottish record I see (assuming he's Scottish and VBOB / Fotherz / WORDUP aren't)
Well done jonesy, that's the first time I can remember a 700+ word being scored for the first time by someone outside the VBOB / Fotherz circle.
2 words I enjoyed getting recently in a rare WU session - MARSHMALLOWS and BRONTOSAURS. I'll mail EWQ with other website-worthy efforts in due course.

has anyone else had this?

played one last night and the £1 was in the mid 200's
i went past the £1 through the £2 and continued on the £3 and cleared the screen for the 500 bonus. the bonus didnt reach any higher amount which i was a little gutted.
but i expected to get the £3 that i continued past
but no
i got NO WIN come up
couldnt ****ing believe it.
next board £1 was in 900's and i collected it.

it's rare but it does happen. occasionally, if your last word scores 9 or 12, the gap between prizes can be more than 512 in which case you end up with no prize. but otherwise it will always tell you when the next prize is and you can bail out. hard lines.
