As much as i don't want to drag this off topic, the bit of the OP's post that states a machine with the coin mech/payout disabled is totally legal to own without a license or permit is fine, but you definately need to have one if you wish to sell a machine.

These rules are bollocks really, as i have a machine on sale on ebay ATM, but apparently i could have my listing removed and get into trouble off the gambling commision because of it.

Just warning you mate.

Heh, that picture is classic!

Oh, and there are still loads of dubious 'restaurants' around my way with machines in them. I can think of a Holey Moley, VIU and a QPS Cat n' Mouse jobbie off the top of my head.

A lot of the other ones have those 'skill' machines which are completely guff, but I imagine they make a few quid at 3:00am with the pissers trying their sk1llz0r...

Vamp in a kebaby, sounds promising doesn't it? Probably a useless £8 jackpot horrible chip. I have a Simpsons Duff Beer Guide with barely any bulbs active. Hey Homey! I can see your doodle....errr no you can't!

Anyway, we've hijacked the OPs original statement of machine for sale and it has already been hijacked once by a wind up merchant, so to recap....

So, to recap, if anyone is interested in an Alien in new condition (all meter readings are on 0), COMPLETE with manuals and keys and currently has the 0.5 software installed (allows 7th heaven) then please PM Slammer.

I paid just under 3000 for it a couple of months ago, looking for sensible offers.

Buyer would need to collect it from Bedford and pay cash on collection.

Some of them are dispensing with the SWP element completely and have those 'boxing' machines in that make you look hard at 3am. I'm usually hard at 3am anyway, but that's another story.

Just to recap

[size=pretty flippin' large] I had a thread selling my Alien but it has been deleted by a moderator after some complete idiot posted, moaning about me being a thief and selling stolen goods!! This munter was no doubt just jealous that he could not afford to spend £3000 on an overgrown electronic plant for his living room.

Unfortunately, because I havent logged on since posting it forsale about a month ago, I was unaware of what had been going on.

The alien was bought through a reputable dealer and was delivered with the coin mech disabled as it is for use in a home environment without license - completely legal.

I would happily show the invoice to the buyer.

I am completely legit and bought it for practicing 7th heaven and with the intent to expierment on the new software. No dodgy tools have been used on it, or any extra holes have appeared. It is literally like it was when it was delivered.

So, to recap, if anyone is interested in an Alien in new condition (all meter readings are on 0), COMPLETE with manuals and keys and currently has the 0.5 software installed (allows 7th heaven) then please PM me.

Spyder: May well be, as soon as I see that 'half a cabinet' sitting on a greasy kebab-stained table, I do a Gabrielle - Walk On By... ;)
