Was in my local the other day so mooched around and played a bit of Track & Field (since I am not a man to shit where he eats).
I reckon this is the first pint game, as in you can drink a whole one and still be playing this. Value for money does not equate to time, it equates to enjoyment. And I find no joy in this.

these T&F comments are quite right. however, if steve or mike or dan or phil is in the local with a couple of mates, this game is good value for money. i don't think many games are aimed at people whose primary aim is to take money out of them quickly. add in a couple of nostalgic subgames and there is a different Q&A option, which is relatively easy if you have the patience of angels.
it does take forever but maybe that is what the public wants? quite aside from any prizes, there is a certain amount of machismo in group playing a quiz machine. unless you know about plié, in which case a perspex tube comes down and nicks your pub snack.

nobody ever wins on those things.

Another namecheck to report on MOTD:
Q. Which company sponsored Colchester United in 2007/08?
A - Istenem Homes
B - Grecian Homes
C - Weston Homes
As regards MOTD itself, I don't play it much but would ask one thing - has anyone worked out how to play that 'Rearrange the Picture' bonus game (like the old kids' toy with the wooden squares)? I can't work out if it's badly programmed or just me being cack-handed but I just can't get the hang of it. Similarly for the 'Complete the Headline' bonus on All Clued Up - am I the only one who has found it impossible to get that to work?
