New/Test Machine I think...

....called Kings Ransom

Feature stack on the left in no particualr order apart from "Notes of the Round Table" at the top. Same old Safe Cash predicament in the middle in a circle. Small wins on the outer circle, bigger til u get to the centre where £25 JP is. Cash Stack on the right up to £25. Very Jackpot Genie/Snailblazerish this machine. Usual bonus gamble options, Safe Cash, Crystal Ball, Extra Icon etc.

Went on it, got to £10 cash and thought I'd push it. Ended up putting in £20 and stupidly ended getting to £25 cash, forgetting there was no gamble to the top

Recycled that and then another £50 for the top which went £50 so ended up down. There's one bonus option called "Red Treasure" which turns the notes at the top red. There's a also an icon on the bonus, you get 3 and u get top feature. However, if you land on Red Treasure and turn all notes red, it auto starts top feature. I didn't know this til it happened lol

Anyways, anyone else seen this? Maybe its an old test machine...I dunno....

Yeah, it's quite an old one that never made it i think. 2 popped up in York, though i never played either of them. Reminded me of Dragon Drop.

I've seen Kings Ransom before, looked like a mish-mash of a few Reds. Saw another called Hex (I think) looked like a DNA, was that a test?

Hex is the DNA clone, yep. Not heard anything about it for months now, perhaps they got recalled and thrown on the fruit machine bonfire?

Never seen a holey moley

but have a few freak streaks. Had a £50 top out of them thats bout it though! I agree with you though Matt about how its like bling bling. They are hard to read which is a bit of a put-off!

Ok, although it would be nice to see a brand new idea from Red. It might bring in some new players.

Does anyone know whether Red will change to the Horizon cab, as Barcrest and Vivid already have?

Red won't change to the AWFUL horizon cab, unless they are forced. As for Freak Streak, Holey Moley (one in the Sports Cafe in Birmingham along with a Manic Money Monster in some weird cab with silver legs (??!!) - nice game though - Hex, Grub A Dub Dub, Rob Ya Blind, Money Eater, No Holds Here and One Ton Down are all new Red Gaming machines.... seems like they are throwing an inordinate amount of machines out at the moment... so, either they are doing very well, and selling each one... Or they are stuggling and throwing as much out as possible in the hope some of it works....
