I've seen a lot of praise on here for Gamesnets but personally I hate them. The Bully game always tends(ed) to judder which is fist through the screen annoying.

Give me a Paragon/Violet/Open ETC. ETC. any time....

The game on the old type gamesnets does judder but on the newer oval machines this is much improved most likely down to the faster processor speed.

I agree that's irritating, but I think that for probably majority of the last couple of years, the best cabinet for decent players, in terms of games selection, has been the GamesNet: that said, that's certainly not been the case for the last four or five months and some of the very recent line-ups leave an awful lot to be desired. On a similar issue, I was reflecting at the weekend how barren the current itBox line-up is: I reckon we're almost back at v54 standards, sadly.

We should be so lucky! Extras on Bully, that game who's name escapes me that was the next Caveman Capers type and that "Every Second Counts" variation. It's enough to make you nostalgic. Still got one in Hull sigh!!

I think grecian meant 'pre version 54' - that was the version which introduced the games you mention (Hells Bells being the Caveman clone) and which was seen as a landmark release at the time - it also had the semi-decent Crossword Quiz and one or two other bits and pieces. Several of the preceding versions had been really poor - DOND was often the only decent game there.

Yes, sorry, this was "my bad" - I meant version 53 but got my numbers muddled up. Version 54 was, of course, a bit of a classic, but prior to that there'd been a very poor run of releases and it is that sort of level that I fear we are now approaching.
