In Oldham?!
As far as I remember, it boasts some impressive municipal buildings, a capacious square and a handsome statue of burnished gold*.

I hear that, in summer, it can also be sunny there.

AWP players invited, but they have to answer a series of ten questions of increasing difficulty which determine where they sit on the coach.

1-2 correct. In the baggage hold.
3-4 correct. In the boiler room, inhaling the carcinogenic fumes. Yes I know coaches don't have boiler rooms, it's poetic licence ok?
5-6 correct. On the front seat next to the teacher.
7-8 correct. On the big fat back seats with all the naughty SWP pros, making rude signs at the motorists behind.
9-10 correct. On the other front seat next to the other hottie student teacher with 'boobliobos fantistiques' 'scuse my Spanish
11-12 correct. On the roof. If they're that damn clever then they should survive up there.
13 correct and longest word of 'quizzifizzywhizzypoops' gets to sit next to Quizmaster and teach him some Word up/Scrabble strategies.
14 correct and I'll PM you about that smokescreen
15 correct and "Hey he's cheating!" (Fly back home)

Question one. Round One. True or False. The 'fake widow' is a type of spider, non indigenous to The British Isles, that carries enough venom to potentially kill a 72kg male homo sapiens? Bonus points for telling me whereabouts in Gloucester you can find this Spider and which number bus it caught from Devon to get up to there in the first place. Remember bonus points are awarded for using long words.

But what happens if they get a big fat zero? Do they have to drive the coach?

Oldham has lots to offer........

If you are planning a visit (of which you are all more than welcome) - you need to plan it to co-incide with our yearly carnival.

Its a unique affair thats designed to bring all colours-races and creeds together.

See this exclusive footage below of the last one........

The police dog display team were excellent !

All colours and races were involved in the parade which as you can see went on until the early hours !

Its no secret where my pub is - and no its not called the whiteswan - but anybody can pm me and ill give u the address - we are about 15 mins outside Manchester.

Hi

And just in case you weren't aware - we serve award winning proper homemade "Rag Puddings" - if you have never tried one then you are in for a treat !!

If you want to organise something for a sunny saturday or sunday afternoon - then go for it - we have a large beer garden with a play area - the best home made grub for miles - cold beer and most important - an OPEN machine !!

Carnival is June 27th - 28th, Alexandra Park, Oldham.

Drive up Saturday morning; lunch, games and pudding at Dave's pub; evening hitting the town/machining; stay overnight (paid for through machining); carnival (fruitchat float to be confirmed); back home.

Who's game?

Or, in other words, has anyone got a car? :D

Unfortunately I shall have to defer on this, since I shall be in the States, spunking some of my ill gotten gains down the Vegas strip.

Seems to me we should have an annual get together though. I know it's been tried before, but I'm sure a mutually convenient location could be picked.
