rainbow riches gamble
ill share my experience with you. . . . . .
i knew about it and thought one day Bo**cks to it im giving it a go... this is what happened
machine 1. £20 for 500 + pots after 870 up... machine 2 180 for 500 machine 3 200 for 500... this crazy run lasted for days and i was nearly 8k up... by this time my gambling partner was doing them with me and a unchipped dial didnt seem worth doing anymore...
i banked 6k off it in 7 days and thought " why arent people doing these everywhere "
anyway as time went by and i was in different bookies i could not see any real pattern , no matter how high the pots are it didnt matter ( obviously seperate ) i was taking them on regardless.
it was a tuesday i done my rounds of hi lo silvers cluedos etc just to keep semi on top and i decided ill make a quick grand in laddies... how wrong was i... machine 1 gambled to 400 after £6 then took £2500 to get the 500.. machine 2 took £2100 from the start and didnt gamble past £300... thoughts were flying through my head ... has it been fixed , has it been done by someone " so i moved to a bookies miles away... next bookies £3k in and no jp....
i do not play these anymore... i think im slightly up on them and when you have a good day 5k is achievable ... but when you have a bad one be prepared to feel the credit crunch like everyone else coz these things are dangerous.
as duncan valentine would say... i think you have got a lot of balls to take this idea on, but its a high risk investment and theres no long term future in it... so for that reason im oot !

if its truly random it wouldnt come back till until the random element hit the same concequences as the first instance, which would result in the same outcome...
what you are looking for is the different outcome of randomness which creates the winning instance, thus, giving the higher prize... and for this random element to happen two or three times in random succession to each other...
pretty random huh?
hope this helps
Yes, as always!harry2 wrote:This random theory will run and run.
For those that have interest in the compensated £500 machines I can share my experience:
Joker poker 500:
Used to play these alot in bookies when they were only in betfred. They are similar to normal joker poker but with £100 repeater at the top of the column, £500 is only achievable with 4 kings and a joker (no chance). Also you can gamble your win on a double/nothing.
Anyhow when I first started playing these I was just pumping it out either for the £100 repeater (this often did £200/300, had £400 once), or if I got send a middle card (5-9) I would just gamble out the win on double or nothing till it reached the cap... ie. £10 would be £20 £40 £80 £160 £320, then it auto collected. Right then, had result after result after result on these, was so confident I was gambling the £100 (non repeater) for the £400 even when I was nothing into the machine. I'd say I'd maybe lost on 1 in 40 at the time; was even phoning up the head office to ask for my nearest betfreds!!!
Then one day I noticed in hills they had put the game on their terminals, happy days I'm thinking, although the percentage was reduced from 92% to 90%, not a big issue I thought. Anyway got to £160 on the gamble from £10 for a few quid in and it lost to £320. Then it cost £1800 to get upto the £100 repeater, the gamble playing rancid losing 80% of the time; this repeater only did one repeat. Ended up playing on and was over £2000 down on it in the end, having not had anything decent out of it at all apart from that one £200.
Not to be peturbed by one (albeit major) hiccup, the next one I played in betfred (again it was put down to 90%), and oops the same thing happened, the gamble playing terribly; lost over £1600 on that.
After those 2 results my mate played another one and lost £1000+ on it; that was the last straw and stopped playing them, although still well up on them overall (I mean I had a lot of £300-400 wins for £20 or less in).
I figured that they must have just changed the program to tighten the gamble (double gamble I mean) up, when they changed the percentage, although perhaps I was just getting lucky on the original load of them?
CMS £500's:
Again will go quicker on this one though, you can superbet your wins on the game, upto £10 stake. Had a lot of results on these to start, often the first £10 bet sending the board in which then goes for £300 average. Then had a £2000 loss on one near aldershot, with the superbet refusing to send anything at all; I could not get the superbet pot to get over the original win even once (well maybe a few quid but I mean £10 max). Bear in mind the supposed percentage on the £10 superbet is 96%.
I have since noticed, if the superbet aint doing anything when you get on the machine, it never will, not for hundreds maybe thousands of pounds. If if is, and I mean sending £100+ climbs, you can get a big climb, maybe £250+; it is quite easy to see the "cap" on climbs; ie. say its a £250 climb, it gets upto that quickly then if you dont take it, it either drains it to £0 VERY quickly with hardly a win in sight, or drains £20 and gives a £20 win (BLATENT sign the climb is capped that is).
As the superbet seems to be completely stone these days I haven't played one in months. I'd say I was even or slightly down on these overall.

Thats because its random!!!!!!!!red22 wrote:bannatyne calladine whatever...... not convinced the gamble is random still ... i think its got a seperate pot for the pie gamble and if it hasnt been raped you will get it.... takes some explaining though when you lose the 500 gamble when your on 400 and it dont come back for thousands.
You lost the 400 it randomly gave you by gambling, therefore that money has disappeared. It hasn't gone back in to the machine to sit there waiting to come out in some "pot", its just gone!! You failed the 1 in 5 chance (you had a 4 in 5 chance of winning). Someone else will turn 100 in to 500 by gambling, and lo-and-behold, the machine is back on percentage. Not cos it "wanted" to pay out the 500, just cos the person happened to pass the chance of winning those gambles.
I give up - there is no point explaining random to people, cos they don't understand and won't believe. I'll find it hard not to post again when someone else gets the wrong end of the random stick, but i must try...!!

I ought to point out that nowhere does it state that every part of the machines gameplay has to be random. The implementation is up to the designers.Barry Trotter wrote:Thats because its random!!!!!!!!red22 wrote:bannatyne calladine whatever...... not convinced the gamble is random still ... i think its got a seperate pot for the pie gamble and if it hasnt been raped you will get it.... takes some explaining though when you lose the 500 gamble when your on 400 and it dont come back for thousands.

For example, I could design a game that was random, and could randomly award you a 20 quid win on the reels, feature or whatever, but the true random value was 100 pounds. You are welcome to gamble up to the true random value, but it'd cap you at 100.
If you collect, then 80 pounds payout has drifted. Alter your random tables to reflect this and away you go. Landing on any corresponding win is still random, but I've rigged the gamble.
Whilst you may feel cheated by my presentation of randomness on my machine, it is in fact still random. I made no promises to not change the payout tables etc. I'm still going to meet my target % payout randomly.
Don't make assumptions on randomness implementation - it's almost as uninformed as saying "these games are random!!!"
