You are right to a point mate, I have a couple of friends who have built a fantastic life for themselves on the back of fruit machine playing, largely thanks to me starting them off years back. They have worked very hard for the money, and put it to good use, and are set up for life. They are in the position where they can say with confidence that they play fruit machines for a living, because they have the assets etc to back it up.
There are two reasons why I can't do that, the first being that I haven't managed my money as effectively as others, and because of this I don't have the same lifestyle as them. Because of this I am only going to come across as a degenerate gambler. The second reason is that I was in all the top sets at school, and even went to a boarding school, so was expected by many to achieve great things. I haven't achieved anything in life really...........
I was recently invited to a prep school reunion, and my brother, who has a good job, etc was keen to attend. Personally I would rather have been repeatedly run over by a large transit van, and left to die in unspeakable pain than attempt to justify my lifestyle to a bunch of elitist pricks, who have been helped along the way immensely by being born into a wealthy background.

I don't know how old you are but I suspect quite young ?anfield road wrote:Who the fuck cares about a crumbling society?
Maybe one day there will be a Mrs Anfield and then baby Anfields
Then you will care about the society as if people stop caring and contributing there will be nothing for baby Anfield to grow up into.
No doubt you and others will think bollocks to it I have my flash car and a wad of cash in my pocket......
But trust me fruit machines will not be forever and then you will have nothing
This is not criticism just a heads up to what could happen very easily.
To those who say they take nothing therefore they dont pay into the system...
What happens when you need medical care ?
Have you all arranged private health care ?
What do you do at 3am when youve had a punch up in a club and need stitches ?
Who pays for that ?
If you don't mind me asking, you don't play and you don't want to get a job, what do you actually do at the moment?? Or did i misread what you said, in which case i appologise.
And too right anfield i got a punto the people were basically giving it away at the price, being a student is probably the only demograpgic that benefits from the climate at the moment.
