Watch when he steps up to the oche for his throw!

You mean chalk !!

Yeah why does Taylor often put his hand in his pocket before he throws? Is there a lump of chalk in his pocket?

If you get a free ball situation then you can take a colour that acts as an extra red, so theres an extra 8 points available for a 155 total clearance.

The chalk in Taylors sky rocket is obviously for a better grip.

Phil Taylor actually has grip wax in his pocket. Before each throw, notice that he rubs his hand in his pocket if you look closely.

You can tell if a dart player uses chalk when the arrow goes in. Keith Deller was famous for this.
Roulette free since December 2011.

I'm still waiting for the day someone bangs home a 155. Alex Higgins did a 16 red clearance but didn't get the maximum.
I'm lost. How do you get a 155 break? Surely theres 15 reds on the table.
If Player A commits a foul with all the balls still on the table, and player B is snookered from all the reds, he is given a free shot, so can nominate any colour as a red. He pots that, then a black, then precedes to make a further 147.

Easier said than done however!

Pahh.. snooker, a girly sport with no dad waist coats..[ yes i'm shit at it and hate the fact] lol

Now darts... to hit 7 x treble 20, treble 19 then double 12.... with beer belly lower than a pair of slate layers nail bags, so much bling u can hardly lift your arm to throw, and so much sweat in your eyes you may as well just throw bind folded, like the pro's do..... Now thats skill....

I play for my local pub team... and you throw leg after leg, just in a local league.. and you soon realise what a feat it is......

Just to throw a 180, in it self is a massive achivement tbh... and something ive only done twice in 6 years...

I practice 2 times a week, and me and my family are moving into a pub in 10 days, so im gunna up my rate of arrows....

I will never achive anything like county status, but its the love of the sport, and i admire anyone that has the skill to walk to the oche, and plant a 11 dart finish..... my best is a 12... and only once...

:o ops:

Apparently Bobby George goes treble 20, treble 19 then bull three times on the trot in exhibitions, would like to see that, we had Bristow at the old mans pub a few years back and he was unreal, he had 48 left and went 3 x double 8, and they all landed in a straight line one on top of the other, he also finished one game on his knees with his opponents darts, he done a dozen Guinness easy in just a couple of hours, right piss head :)
