It was great.
Although I've been brought straight back down to earth with my first day at work, with a bit of jet lag thrown in.
The new hotel is called the Palazzo. It is in a similar style to the Venetian, and is supposed to be the new place to stay. Although there were at least 3 other major new builds underway which may be bidding to steal the crown.
Didn't bother with the machines only played about $30 through, randoms don't do it for me. Lost about $400 on poker in 3 sittings about 12 hours in total, it's quite hard to stay on the table for any length of time and be up, with all the money that falls through the table for the house. Loved the diversity of it though, playing a cowboy, Chinese, Indian, peroxide blonde, New York granny etc - everyone with a story to tell. Weather was also very good with a few shows and trips thrown in for good measure.

Are you referring to the bridge that is directly in front of the damn, spanning the two rims of the gorge?
