Sorry I did not mention it before  I did not realise there was a difference in club and pub machines :o ops: the only difference ive noticed is that pub machines are more expensive to play hence I dont play them

There is a LOTR club yes, and its tight as hell generally, not that i play it much. Gamble nudges like to offer 1 nudge, then you gamble, it stops clean on 2 and then the nudge appears to vanish

I was wondering what all the harsh comments were for!! Personally I've only ever seen the club LOTR so I instantly thought that's what she was talking about!

Welcome to the forum by the way

The confusion came from the way the member put it Rocket.

I just won 200 quid on lord of the rings.....
It was not stated that it was a club machine and all too often people join forums and shoot their mouth of straight the way about all their big wins, "Gimme loadsa codes/cheats/tips kk thanks lol"...

This wasnt the case here.

The win/machine just wasnt explained correctly.

People react like that because they are sick of bullshitters.

But yeah, welcome to the forum beryl. Congratulations on your win, if your putting 50 in at a go, its about time you won some money back :)

King.

terrible machine this one though can remember playing in a casino with one of my mates. Had about 30 in each nothing to note out went to the blackjack table. 20 mins later couple of other lads we knew come down to us saying just a fiver in each and won jackpot out of machine. I think it was set to £250. To say I was gutted was a understatement

With all the posts said ive won 180 and 175 on a pub LOTRs. Think it was the two towers ( the one with the eye) and if you could match charachters you had that feature - cant remember the name.

So it is actually possible to win that amount from a pub machine.

I used to love Club LOTR, it was eminently forcable, and once I had a hold of it, I owned it for the 9 monthes or so it was at my local WMC. It did have a habit of paying the JP for a quid every now and again, but you could tell pretty reliably how far the JP is away by how long it takes to reach the £50 block (and making sure you don't get too burnt from good local sources!) Perhaps that would explain some poor results from others?
