Hi,

I've just taken delivery of a Vivid Fruit Machine called Devil of a Deal - 25p play £25 jackpot.

Does anybody know how to alter the volume and payout percentage on this machine?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I'm pretty sure you do the volume with a refill key, just hold the middle button in whilst you turn it, don't know the answer to you other Q.

as above,

use the refil key and hold down the hold buttons and turn the key, this should bring up a volume option..

for %age change..

see if you have one of these in, if it had switches you can change the %, if not, buy this and it should work....

i too have just bought a vivid 25p £25, (rat pack)
do i need to buy one of these devices to change % ?
it seems strange that such a modern m/c is not able to change such an important setting without one??? bizarre! :o

exactly, i don't know owt about the technology inside, i can change a bulb, clean the mech, and the other day i managed to unblock hopper (just by trial&error) i'm not sure how to change % but i previously have owned an old Albert Square, in which these tiny pin-switches adjusted it?

the pecentage "keys" simply unplug off the main board, usually you get a set % thats just a plug thing like an old amiga/atari joystick plug with no wire coming out, but they make them like this so you can change the setting, operators probably have all their machines set the same anyway, so no need for a variable one?

Cheers Chaps - the volume tip worked perfectly :)

I think i'll leave the payout at 78% for now...seems to play quite ermmm "pub like"

Cheers again for the help.
