REFIL KEY
REFIL KEY
I have a refil key that I only ever use on my machines. I bought it out of interest really to take a look at what it could be used for on my own machines, never use it when out playing although I know people do.
I have a Red Gaming Legal Tender and when using the key, have to unlock the cabinet (i.e. front glass door) before it will show readings etc.
On other machines, such as my Barcrest, you just put the key in and it will read.
Anyone know why this is???

This is actually a very interesting question and one that has many answers... I am currently writing a small book about refill keys.
I will post more information when the book is about to be published. It will be around £4.99 for a paperback version and will show photographs of refill keys as well as a couple of images of the different locations where refill keys (also known as RKs) are inserted.

I'm honestly looking forward to this. Are you in the running for the Pulitzer, or perhaps the Whitbread or Booker award? How does RKs character evolve throughout, is he (I'm assuming a 'he' as there's often mention of said RK inserting himself) a protagonist who we feel deeply for, come what may?

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
