(not sure if i hav posted this in right section, but here goes)Nipped in2 my local services yesterday, on my
daily rounds with my m8, and as i walked in, i
noticed the £500 Elvis chucking out loadz(think its a crest? not sure)
On the screen it read DATAPORT 7.1?
Now as the guy clearly wasnt a mechanic and was scooping all his money up and throwing it in2 a carrier bag, it caught my attention.
Was this normal on winning the £500? Could've bin more,
it took him both hands 2 pick his bag up :P
Anybody know what DATAPORT is?

I think the current rod for these is a controlled hopper dump. If you look above the Start and Max Bet buttons there will probably be a load of scratches on the cabinet where they got in.

I saw a bloke do something like this on a MOnkey Bussiness in the services. Afterwards the m/c reset.

how do they get away with it Pubs or services??

Theres CCTV on all machines...

In lots of services I visited recently (M40 / M6 etc - I travel a lot with work) I've found every playing area manned by a staff member. Having said that... I hit one services before I saw these people (2-3 weeks earlier) and the S16s were roped off with police tape. Asked what happened and a person had CUT A HOLE in the machine and taken all the money out!!

your post intrigued me about the dataport dumps on the s16's...rightly enuff checked out my local 500jp'ers and rightly so they have sum serious scratches/dents just about the start buttons....interesting
