AL54-2A LCD Meter comms fail

Hi

Can you help?

I have recently purchased a barcrest Bully For You fruit machine for my MANCAVE. I have no idea how this machine works internally, but I do know it has an MPu5 game card inside.

The machine has been working fine for the last 2 months, but now I am getting an 'AL54-2A LCD Meter Comms Fail' error message appear, and the machine will not function whatsoever.

Could someone possibly please explain a step by step guide on how to rectify the problem? I litterally have no idea what I am doing!! Hellllllpppppp!!!! 🤗🤗🤗

the meter is located above the coin mech, looks like this.

the wiring loom can get caught in the door which causes wires to break or the meter to become unplugged.

have a look around, see if the meter is disconnected or wires damaged..
