Played a juice tonight, new game DOND Crazy Boxes. From Barcest with the full DOND branding. Total clone of Crazy trails. Thats a good start isnt it. Is this what we have to expect from digital Barcrest now? DOND TIOLI clones, DOND Dublin Up clones, DOND Rainbow Riches clones etc etc. I really cant wait....

Imagine what the AWP scene would be like had the game Deal Or No Deal not been invented....

In your local Spoons you'd have a Magic 7 next to a Bar X 10, and over by the toilets there would be a Triple 7 Cabinet with various shit games on it, and a single player Golden Game on which the Let 'em Spin disappears for no reason for up to £100.

These digital units are tedious. The 'Menu' button is located just below the middle hold and I've pressed it numerous times accidently without looking. If you get a 'Hold Reel 2 for xxx" and accidently press the menu button, don't expect the game to remember it offered you that when you load it back up again.
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
Not on the Juices, Matt. The wierd thing on the Juices are the Menu button is top right. On some games there is no problem, on others there is no response what so ever, you have to wait for the time out. At first I thought it was a screen problem but when I realised some games have no problem it must be bad coding or just plain laziness.

Ah, sorry, I'm talking about the Gamestech jobbies.
They really seem to be running these machines on a shoestring though. Look at the response you can get on a pretty basic PC nowadays - even with a touch-screen monitor. These just don't seem to be up to scratch thus far...
