BWB Calamari Club Machine Problem - Help much appreciated

Post by Retro Fruit »

Hello, Im very new to this, and know very little about how it works, but im giving it a try.
My bwb club calamari machine seems to have stopped working and i cant work out why - I hope someone can help.

I have little techinal knowlage but have tried some basic things.

When the machine is turned on, I get a flash from the feature board and the the hopper moves round a couple of times, then nothing.
If i then re-plug in the machine, the hopper spins continuously.
No bulbs are lit, but there is a power light on the MPU4 board.
I have checked the fuses on the PSU and they are fine, I have also tried another PSU and the same things are happening.

If anybody has an idea I can try, I would be most grateful.

it sounds like you have a short somewhere, or MPU needs replaced. try disconnecting hopper and trying again,

Hopper shouldn't spin when machine powers up
so could be a short there

but i think it's more likely you need a new MPU.
