error message " invalid key"

can anyone help me as i am getting a message of INVALID KEY ?

This is usually when you have a stakes prizes key that is set to an unrecognised setting.
If the machine has been sited in a Scuba snookling club, this sort of problem is inherently manifested in all the waterlogged circuitry.
An example might be trying to set an Addams Family to 50p play/£35 jackpot, not happening obviously, you can have 25p/£25 jackpot or 25p/£5C if you want, just keep flicking the switches until that message goes away.
If you're unsure which switches to flick, don't worry, it's all about experimentation, but in all machines of that era, there is a death switch, if flicked, it'll result in a lethal shock. It's very rare to find death switches in machines of that era, so you should be safe.
