First of all, this was is in a bubble cabinet so I assume its Barcrest or possibly Red. If any mod knows better move this to the appropriate forum please.

Last night I was in a bar and on the other side of the room was this machine, that replaced a DOND but switched off. I've broken my leg (again) so was not in the mood to take a special trip over seeing as it was off.

All I can tell you is (from what i could see in the dark corner it was in) there was nothing but graphics on the bottom glass and the whole of the top glass was taken up with a large video screen. There was no winplan that i could see, which got me thinking it may not be an AWP.

I looked on players heaven and the Barcrest site but could not find anything on either of them. This was an M&B pub and its not known for siting test machines, I was just wondering is this an AWP or some sort of game machine, and if an AWP is it any good?

It might be a Gemini or something, they released a machine that had this sort of build called Baby Vegas in the past

It is, yeah. Cant say I look too impressed with the games.
I will probably be down there tonight, Im almost sure it wont be there. This is a student bar and for the past 3 years if there has been no dond game on a fruitie it has been replaced in less than 3 weeks.
About 2 years ago they had a multi-game video AWP (cant remember the manu or model, defo not juice though) this had a dond game on and even this lasted about 2 weeks, all these little Einsteins complained they were confused by it.

seen one of these in preston last saturday with about 12 games on it ,roulette and blackjack and some 20 line rainbow riches type slots with different themes , played a pretty decent looking egyptian mummy slot on it and hit a few nice wins and left it about £60 up after about 15 mins as wasn't 100% sure if the games are connected or not on these , pretty sure most of the games were random tho like the bookies, the games were more like fobt style than that other video juice machine thats about in some of the pubs, made a change from my usual ten quid 2 minute punt and no board on noel anyways, will have a look at the other stuff on it tomorrow night if its still in there.

ventured back into the pub in preston last night and this thunderbolt machine was still there so had a proper look at it , sceptre sticker on the side (no surprise there), its not a barcrest i don't think, it had storm games on the glass, anyway had a few games of the blackjack then switched to a roulette game where you put chips on the table then spin reels instead of the roulette wheel , £6 down after a few spins then hit my number for a £36 win so made a sharp exit to the bar, didn't get another go at it , some real ugly bloke got on it while i was getting the beers in and hogged it for the rest of the night
