volune control is test mode (open door, wait for machine to restart, hit cancel to exit meters and hit the green test button on the motherboard)
then navigate the test menu using the four front panel buttons nearest the right. (start, collect etc). you'll soon work it out.. :)

also you might be able to turn it down via refil mode with door open.

after working ok for about a week the machine has stopped loading. it just clicks. the four leds are all lit and I have been around all the cables and sockets. I have also tried changing the program card. nothing seems to want to work. any ideas where I should be looking. I have tried to souce a manual for this machine but no luck yet mick

the power supplys on these machines are notoriously unreliable.

would it be the power supply if the four leds are lit ?

yes its possible. they reset when the machine trys to set up.

you hear a noise through the speakers as the power supply resets.

have checked output from power supply. you were quite right. power going in and only reading about 2v coming out. any one got a sanken gsk017ha power supply for sale. have checked there site and I believe that model is obsolete regards mick

any scorp 4 or 5 power supply should work on it.

from memory , sanken power supplies had no cooling fan and were prone to thermal cut out issues.

Could this could be the same problem I'm having on my Deal or No deal machine? I also have 4 leds lit but also have red led flashing. Machine dead otherwise.
