Sometimes i mistake the 35 for the pound. also I swear the lighting or positioning of a machine has surprised most of us at some point?!

I'm not 100 percent but good enough to help me. I know cp £20 £2 20p.. £1 1p 35 and 70 are the most obvious but I some time get mixed up on them. Aslong as I know the big ones nd cp really. I don't play much so won't be as good as some.
I always get mixed up with £4 box any markers I should be looking for?

Everyone gets done by bad lighting sometimes, but people who don't know their sets of boxes on every Deal by now are quite simply playing to a very poor standard IMO.
For fucks sake every set of box markings out now originates from the late £35 Deals, I've known every box on every one for 3 years now, something you should have all known a long time ago, it only takes playing a few to learn.

besides been wearing glasses since 5 ,,, now 40 ,,,,,,,,,,,,, and i dont like/ sometimes struggle with night driving .
i dont think poor eyesight should automatically mean people are playing em to a poor standard darky m8 ,,,,,,,,, thats a bit harsh ,,,,,,,,,,
its not like those of us with poor eyesight can do much about it.
i know all the main ones ,,,,,,,,,,, easily enough to never fuck up.
and it doesn't matter maverick if you have played 800 of em , and the next bloke has only played 50 ,,,,,,,,,, its not going to improve the more he plays if his eyes are fucked .
we all know what to look for ,,,,,,,,,, but cant always see it.
sometimes you know what it is ,,,,,,,,,,,,, simply by knowing what it isn't ,,,,,,, process of elimination .

I need glasses too Lee, my eyesight is very bad now and I also make mistakes because of it sometimes, that's nothing to make you a bad player.
I meant players who don't correctly know every marking on every Deal, or says I know the boxes on this one but I struggle on that one. A lot of players only learned to read every box on every deal last year, I've been able to do that since £35 jackpots, there have been no new layouts to learn since then, it just shocks me how it took the majority of players so long to know. I guess because most players weren't playing the earlier deals from Win Stopper onwards until they learnt about PD's and LTD's. Big gap on DONDs missed by many people.

Apart from uber-obvious marks on the box, I have always read through timing of the reel. This isn't the best approach but narrows it down for me to the box I *think* it is and normally one value either way. Usually, the first couple of emlimination rounds comfirm your guess, but there's always that £1 / £70 say on a Make or Break or say even a Cashpot / £70 finish on a Mist. If the cashpot is high and the £70 is still there, then I've got to admit it's a crap shoot for me. I assume that the other way of reading is to look at marks on the side of each reel, actuall on the plastic disc either side ?? I gues if I combined the two, then I'd be much more accurate from the off. So I'm weighing in around the 70 pecent mark too. Also it's sometimes a pain in the arse remembering the configs of say a Perfect Game with it's £18 / £60 boxes.

on most donds
1p, £70 look alike
£1, £35 look alike
10p, cashpot look alike
20p, 50p, £3, £8 look alike
£2, £20 look alike
£10, £15 look alike
£4, £6 on the join
on megas just swap the 1p,£35 for the £10, £15 markings.
no 2 boxes are the same tho, on perfects you can see tabs on the above and below boxes to tell and stuff like this.
ive oftem wondered why they put these markings there!
every reel band is identical right down to reflections inside the plastic, this has got to be quite hard to do and very noticable by a company if they wasnt meant to be there.
could it be that the machine reads the markings to see whats in there ?
