Free credits in arcades

Post by mouse75 »

My local seaside arcade gives regular players £6 of free tokens a day to entice more visits. The more savvy of us spend the tokens and exit sharply.
Yesterday - £6 of tokens into £25 partytime. JP on reels - Partytime - JP, £2, £5 - stop, Straight back up - JP, £2 £2 £2 £5 stop.

£93 profit in 4 minutes for no risk. Thanks mr Arcade owner...

Presumeably a lot of you get similar bonuses - so question time whats your best raise off a freebie (Random spinner and similar do not count!)

Mr P's down Gravesend does 2 for 2 or 5 for 5 on party days. APart from that the only bonus I've had is down a Quicksilver where if you changed up 50 you got 10 quid in tokens to play through. Took this offer up, played the tokens for frick all and survived on the 50 for the course of the day!

used to do a "fill your fruity" with tokens in quicksilvers

everyone got a raffle ticket and the one called out got the token chance
you got 30 seconds to get the tokens in the machine starting from your first one..

grannys would put one token in at a time,
we worked out to line all of the tokens in the tray into one layed down stack, and hold about 30 in each hand and slide them across the slot, once one hand was empty, grab more from the stack and slide the other hand across, whatever went through the slot was yours, rejected by the mech or not as it'd goen through the slot., best i got was around £80 in tokens and a mate swears he got over £100, as 95% of the tokens ended up in the payout tray of the machine, you could use them on other machines to the first, i at best i made about £300 from playing everything in the arcade that took tokens for a board and taking the first couple of wins from each machine.

it was quite quickly capped to £20 worth of tokens in the tray.. if we won the raffle ticket from this point they just gave us the £20 tokens lol.

Did this in Cambs ago ago. Think it was £10 for £10 so it all went into a RR, play off £10 and collect £30 was the plan. The £10 gave leps for £35 so left it at that point.

On the way out we put £5 back in and it gave pots, only a shitty bronze but that done nicely! :)

Its not his money tho is it what you won.

If it wasnt you winning it then it was another punter who was gona win it.
Oh and them tokens will cost you thousands over the years

There has been some blinding offers in arcades in the past.

A while back in the good old days of Simon Thomas owned showboats they use to do £10 VIP in free plays to the regulars in BOTH sites in my local town every day. £20 off free plays every day!!! Only lasted about 6 months tho!!!

In a local agora near me they use to give u a scratch card everytime you got a jackpot £25/£35 era. Each scratch card was £5/£10/£15 or £25 in free plays. It wasn't long before we figured out which scratch card was which!!! So we use to sit in there and recycle the hundreds of pikers they had in there, the find the ace/lady with jackpot repeaters were great as they use to give u a card for the repeats aswell!!! If they ran out of cards(which they did numerous times) the staff would write them in the book and then we'd be in for a windfall when the new stock came in.

Lasted a good few months till they limited it to one a day :(

I remember when Nobles did a £10 cash match in the arcades, me and the GF were in newcastle for a week, and we could both do it twice a day due to the staff changing over, that coupled with the fact we got a couple of random GATWS made it quite a cheap week  .

Ladbrokes slots offer. If you got £500 JP you got to keep the £500 as machine credit. Free to enter, full screen of oranges for £450 rounded up to £500. Bet £1 on red on roulette. It won and I went with £501 profit :)

Ladbrokes had to pay out over £500k on this promotion. It lasted a day where you could play Rainbow Riches Pots of Gold and use the gamble wheel to gamble to the £500. You had 5 mins to play and if you won you got to keep the £500. Silly really as most shops allowed you to play over and over.

Got very drunk later that weekend :D lol
