Here's another one... early gloatery is never a good thing.

that first one's actually a pretty brutal slow roll.
If the old guy was 60 years younger he'd have been berated for the delay in calling and the delay in flipping them over.

The old guy seemed a bit confused though. I have never really got why some players get sooooo wound up over slow rolling while they think speech plays and other behaviours designed to distract and tilt their opponents to be perfectly acceptable.

This wasn't intentionally mean't to be funny. This was the public perception of poker in the pre-internet, pre-texas hold'em days. When if you picked up a good hand you had to re-mortgage your house or sell your kids LOL.

Because when the money's all in, the tactics stop.
nothing feels worse than getting slowrolled by the nuts

Just go on Youtube and type in "Tuff Fish". It might not be the play that's so good as he's learning, but the reactions can't be missed!

Is that Tuff-fish guy for real or is it a big joke?

And that's a fair point Pete - you're right people would be raging if he hadn't been so old.

So how do you feel about this play?

<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZHJsS0uEdvY?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZHJsS0uEdvY?version=3&hl=en_GB" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Personally, I think it's okay - but I'd be interested to know others' opinions.

Tuff fish was a real player. He put up several hours worth of footage it was just the odd clip where he was on tilt that people uploaded. His complete video series is on pokertube.com

Eventually he did bust his roll (some of those players @10/20 party eventually played on High stakes poker. Empire maker etc very decent players.

His original blog

A classic remix of some of the great lines

Tony G is an arsehole and his behaviour in the first one is pretty shitty.
Cash games are a bit different and usually speech play is allowed so he's not breaking any rules but the etiquette is poor, inc;uding all the rub downs later on.

School boy error from Phil though, not watching Tony when he acts.
He's the live second straddle so his action is very important when Phil's raised from the BB.
