Bad Beats

Post by D4nBO »

I know its not good to talk about bad beats and hardly ever do talk about them but was on poker stars other night. Just above the bubble. Gets pocket rockets limps in as out of position somebodys raises heavily I go all in he calls. Shows king 3 off suit flop k 3 10. Proper devastated he destroyed my stack I ended up going on a tilit for next few hands and finished one place out of money......................

I'd definately push pre position is irrelevant here as you have the nuts who is going to re rsaise you. If you did that the k3 might not thought you were weak. "Better to win a small pot than lose a big one"

Ouch!

btw, you can use [ALT] + [PRINT SCREEN] if you don't want people to have a nosey at what's on your computer.

Very daft.. he's banking on the other player thinking he has a 1/16 hand of two diamonds on the flop. Ridiculously foolish to do when you have a high card of five, and two of the three flop cards beat both your hole cards.

It's players like this that make playing poker online profitable and interesting.

had more bad beats than wet dreams...
flopping a fullhouse, 7's over k's, with 7 7 as whole cards. decent bet. Q on the turn. bet again, get called. Q on the river. bet again... lose to someone calling with Q 5 . that was the other day.. and only a tournament, luckily...

Worse cash beat that i can think of, 2 weeks ago was quite annoying. Semi bluffing with a decent bet with an open end straight draw . get called... hit the draw. another big raise. get called again.... turns out some calling station was calling pricey raises with K high. the turn then gave him a gutt shot.. the river giving him a higher straight. lol.

But... raising pre flop on a cash table with pp 9 9 . one caller... it flops 5, 9, 10
i raise.. get re raised... thinking ok good good hopefuly you have A 10. i call the re raise.. turn comes an 9 . i now have qauds.. i bet.. he re raises.. i call... the river comes an 10 . i know 90% of you poker players probably already guessed what he is holding ........... qaud 10's beating my qaud 9's ... 2 players seeing the flop :( the pot was a big one to . something got smashed in my room that day...
