Oh dear, not yet - what does it involve? More blockages that Vanessa Feltz sewer?

It's brutal.

Permanently high exchanges which are impossible to get to, you need to put the national debt of the UK in for a glow, which doesn't always do > £35 from (there's a bit more to that but I'm not sure how much I want to elaborate yet - safe to say it never used to happen), previously ready signs now mean nothing, keeps landing on extra horseshoe when it's already been given (what are you supposed to do, bang the 6?!), very tight middle board (ambushed even low down), very difficult to tell where the machine is at (super board rarely gives cash shots), hates giving 3 horseshoes, board frequency is appalling. And probably more that I can't remember.

I've heard some horror stories over the last few days...let's see who else has too.

i think ive played one of these lost £130 on it must have had 8 jackpots and only one went for £70 all the others were flats then took £45 to £60 a time just to do another flat. Never once offered ****** so i dont even know if it still works on the new program. Allso never shows reds at all even when ready, terrible new program no idea how its paying its percentage.

Probably red trying to scrape some cash back off us...

Sure its a new chip and not just being a pain? Recent ones I think are running a tighter program, but nothing I would really class as a chip. Just a tweak. More recycled flats which can steal your profit, but doesn't seem to happen if properly ready anyway...

Guess the next couple days will tell, it will be confirmed or denied soon enough!

No obvious signs you can recall? Starts on 50p stake rather than 30p for example (Yes I know THESE always start on 50p)?

I've noticed tighter play in general, i.e being red going flat 25 back in, another flat, all back in another flat then dead...

That kind of thing?

Or are you sure they have been 'chipped'?

Last one I played for example, all red after a 20 in for a flat, blah blah, nice ecky, past tenner cash, then takes 50 in for a 45!

But then they can also still be huge, same day....12 for a 105, first board, not red(Obv was)

i had a nice one
20 for a board that offered 9.50 in cashpot so took it on,
100 later got a top off *"$%^"^ but went flat
so i recycled it took 50 for another top which went flat
then took 60 back for another top which went....... 60 ..WHAT THE FUCK!!!
still glowing on next 2 boards so carried on
then took my 60 back (ONLY GOT 3 BOARDS OFF LAST 40)
then got a flat top for it to go stone dead blocking at 2 pound.

I agree with some of this ...

... and I'd add that it seems to offer Mega Start LOADS - but hardly offers anything where the first bullet is on the lower glass (ie. <£3.00) and quite happily sends the Cashpot over the magical £10.00 mark but still kills you.

I haven't had a top via horseshoes in a long time; it always seems to come via all red features or "$%^"$^ most of the time now. Also, it seems to opt for dumping you on Big Bucks (blue), and then heading round to Red Alert to light it red whilst your still on it.

Strangely on the two Indy's I've got nearby, it seems to only ever give the top via 3 Troves, and never seems to offer me the "!$"!%% equivalent. The Indy's still give me the better profits and don't feel quite so harsh when it comes to board costs.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

I've had two Indys near work since Christmas and they have been v reliable and also have very high throughput so have been brilliant. Just last night I said to myself shows over after being on the wrong end of unprofitable chases on both of them over the last few days. I agree with many of the observations above but had put it down to someone beating me to it. Couple of other observations to add to the above:

One unit now seems to go in by giving the 3rd symbol through multiadd which has not happened since October/ November when people didn't realise how to advance round the feature wheel and so were permanently ready.

A couple of months ago the cashpot started to go above 10 but only to like 10.50 or 11 which meant nothing but had never happened previously- this seemed to coincide with announcement of the 70 JP.

Today had one hold for red bars on a 1 which went high for 15 but again 15 ready no longer seems to be guarantee that its just round the corner.

I would say that its just changed to a very flat profile ie put 50 in get 37 back and repeat ad nauseum.

Just some observations from a casual player.

The new chip, if it is indeed a new chip just tightens the hilo gamble/bonusgamble/superboard up, so its much harder to get the top when its ready for it, which is very annoying I have to say. Also they do fewer big streaks imo.

They are costing so much for red due to the fact they are so done nowadayas and are constantly being blagged into tops they didnt want to give of you know what, putting them £100's off going back red.

Played a definite nasty chip on 2 units, both on Gamestec, watched a mate play an Indy on local supplier, first board MS taken on first super shot, then hit RR for a 105, huge!

Frequent pauses between credits and during payouts could constitute a new chip.
