Greatest Quote From A Mug Ever?

Oh dear dear me
I walked in a pub yesterday for the Hi Lo silver
Next to it was a DOND Big Reds with 2 guys playing it
Anyway i went straight on the Hi Lo
One of them looked and said 'oh thats shit mate'
I said 'you think so'
He said 'yeah i lost £70 on it last week'
They were clearly no players
He then said 'yeah what you look for is who makes it'
Then points to the 'Red' sign at the top and says
'Yeah all ones made by them are shite you never win'
By this time i am thinking they must be having me on and want to jump on it
No they are being serious
I then ask 'so are those the best then pointing to BFM logo
'Yeah mate these are the ones to look for'
Lol
I then after £21 in after already having 2 horseshoes got the skill bonus
I turned and said are u watching
Then hit the last one for the top
It went for £105 so i turned and said 'yeah these are shit' laughing
Collected it and then looked to their m/c
£0 in the bank and they were putting notes in
So i said 'how much have u lost in there'
No reply clearly gutted
So with that i said 'well your at least £40 down on it and i am £80 odd up who is the fool?' and made my exit

that is quite funny,
but i can think of a few people around near me, who if you'd said stuff like that to them they'd have gone nuts! lol, you shouldve had a pint or two and sat around for a while, sounds like they'd have left even a big reds "ready"!

Yeah tbh i would never have touched the Big reds anyway
They are total pants even when off their nuts

Well I had a Going Ape the other day and was £30 in and it did a £50 MS.
2 oldish birds - u know the kind u see on shameless were playing pool next to it.
"ooo £50 luv - drinks on you eh?!" Obviously heard it all before but seems she was semi serious...

I felt like saying "I wouldn't even piss on you let alone buy u even a blackcurrant and soda" but like some1 else said in this thread - in this bar I'd have got some right shit so pretended to get a phone call (another classic) and made my exit....

Only these were nice young student types
I had made about 50 on a vortex
They said 2 half lagers please (classy)
I smiled and moved on
Fuck knows why I did that still baffles me now
