Last feature for the all red board

I was just wondering about how the machine goes about giving (or not) the last feature on an ARB1 board. Most times is does seem a bit of a lottery, you know the score, it's £15+ ready and it's ARB1 off low nudges but only offering a win sub £7.
Most of the time it's knock back but with the ARB1 situation it's at least worth punting up the nudges side to a few bonus points in the aim of getting a stab at the feature board and hitting the last blue feature.
Now we know it will block certain features when on it's arse so the same should apply to allowing the final feature (and next bonus point) if it's flying.
However, how many times have you seen say an Invincible fully lit up for the IM and how long it takes to knock all those blue features out ?
I can't say any of us have ever seen a Red actively seek out the final blue feature when flying and regard it as a novel way of getting the top.
I guess what I'm asking is....when flying, is it just luck that you hit the final blue feature and of course, the ensuing next bonus point.

Yeah it is very rare......
and like u say on an invincible when u light all letters
for the IM, it's still stubborn as fuck 2 change the blues 2 red,
think its just the way REDS play?
Interesting topic, will be waiting 2 hear others views on it

PS nice sig

if its flying, and arb1 and on a low cash sum i would keep gamling the features to try to hit it.

If its doing well it will hit it ( i find hitting it the easier bit), your next problem is climing the cash or getting another feature to active the top-obviously depening on the machine.

By gambling the feature its mean you dont have to worry about the safe cash............

I'd say Fun Nudgin' Criminals is one of the machines that gives the top this way most. The trouble is getting that far without being £90 in.

A few years ago, Snailblazer was the best for ARB1 and then getting that last feature.

Agree than FNC is the more recent machine to also do it 'more frequent'.

Invincible 'does' do it, but I agree, it can be a right git about it! Nice when you have the IM board and you knock out almost all the reds with say only one blue left. It will hit it eventually, but, what's the point? lol

Invincible loves to give the last blue but then not give another bonus.
Don't think I've ever hit it on a vortex though.

Ooh, forgot about Vortex, have had it about 3 times on this if I recall... ;)

Although 80%+ of the tops come from gambling out the stack, I'd say the other 15ish% come from name fills, and the last 5ish% come from AR.

Talking of Invincible - has anyone else been stupid enough to find out what happens when you knock out every single feature (obviously when the name is already lit) then press gamble feature again?!

Can't be done can it?!??? You'd just have ARBO and the next time you got to an exchange point.....BOOOM, you'd be up there. I don't think you can DESTROY any of the features on Invincible, they just go red.

Edit: One too many late night poker sessions, of course it blanks 'em out, how would you lose on feature gamble otherwise. Then as soon as you gamble they become red. Maybe it autocollects the last feature - nah that's silly. Or it just keeps landing on blank....Invincible.....blank.......Invincible ad nauseum.

slight clarification to the question above then - Invincible is lit already, but blue and red features remain...

Heh, I've had a go at destroying the feature stack on a full namey board, but it usually leaves you with one or two non-grey features that it just will not hit.

Perhaps if you do knock 'em all out you get the:

<Dons George of the Jackpot Cloak>

Bloopety-Bloop-Bloop-Slippety-Slop-Super-Duperty-Monster-Top

of £200+

<Removes cloak and hands back to George who is looking at me with a distinct Moger Roore eyebrow>

;) ;) ;)

You will find that the older reds were more genorous at offering all red features for the MS. the newer reds seem tighter and its easier just to gamble up or spell the name.

About the invincible thing though, yeah when you have spelt the name, it is so hard to get all the features red. Not sure why it does this though.
